I bought a Lhotse and have been using it to run around in. Nice ship, handles well, clean model with appropriate textures. But that arch over the engine in the rear, it blocks my view of the ship, and seems to serve no purpose whatsoever. I can see a couple of equipment mounts back there so maybe it was supposed to hold a turret or something at some time, but as of right now it seems pretty much useless and just gets in the way. Can it be deleted?

On a serious note, the shape and size of the model plays a role in balancing it. It's fine as is. Sure, it serves no purpose, but as pointed out, the same thing can be said from a lot of things on a lot of craft.

Wow... Let me try again maybe people can read both halves of the sentence: the arch BLOCKS THE VIEW and (PLUS, IN ADDITION TO, CONTINUING ON) since it is also useless it ought to be deleted. Examples of other things that are useless but do not interfere with operation of the ship are not arguments in favor of keeping a harmful element.

So what you REALLY want, (REAL SOLUTION COMING FORTHWITH) is the camera MOVED TO A MORE SENSIBLE POSITION, rather than the arch deleted.
