Alright!

I've got a problem, I am planning on getting a new transport, (I'm a zoner for Maersk) and I need help deciding between two transports.

First one:
Either the Stork.

Second one:
Or the Whale Thing Zoner Transport.

So, please feedback and help?

Which should I get?

(Also realize the stork costs about 50 million credits more than the zoner whale thing.)

Both ships are useless in a fight against pirates, but the Whale has a CM, giving you a chance to escape pirates.
Besides that, it doesn't really matter.
Edit: The Zoner Whale also looks much better, I would take that ship.

Crane. Seriously. Better save around 100mil for 500 cargo less.

First of all...
If you're a real RPlayer, when pirates caught you, you'll cut your engines for sure and you'll try to find a "common language" with them 'cause... for the sake of RP life, probably don't want to end up in your life pod around in space and you love so much your transport ship, your cargo stuffz and you don't want to lose it, ye.

Ok, now on topic... since you're a Zoner for Maersk, zoner whale is great choice for you (CM rulz yehaaaw) for the sake of Zonerzoner trading.

P.S. also Crane rock ye, as Steffz mentioned already.

Okay, the whale is cheaper anyway.

And I've RP'd my way out of a Wilde stoppin' me, I got out home free.
Another time, I just gave a pirate one of my female crew members.

I'm pretty good. lolz

TO DAS WHALE!

Anyway, any good non-house trade routes I can take?

I've never traded outside of the houses.

AFAIK Human Organs, Deuterium and Pineal Amulets are some of the "exclusive" zonerzonerzoner commodities, and in 4.85 they were also profitable. Check them out in flcompanion and plan a route.

Also in 4.86 you can pick up Counterfeit software at the freeport in Yukon and hand it over to the Maquis in Rousillion with great profits, but that would involve some RP with the Council + friends to get access I think.

WROONG! since when RP = cut engine just becouse some pirate say so?
You run for Your life (or cash) and try to find common language if there is nowhere else to run, or You cant run anymore (or it's too late).

and about ship, why not Firefly? or BWT? or Titanic?

but if You really have to fly one of those then I could pick Stork - since Maersk is an Civilian company.

Maersk is a zoner company, mate.

For now, anyway.

Just bear in mind that the Whale is one of the only ships in 4.86 that can't be used on other ID's (the infocard for the Whale overrules the nerf/tech chart).

Sorry read the question wrong. Get the stork. It has a smaller target profile, and the pods will absorb some of the nova damage, which add to survivability.
