To: GMG Board of Directors - Sol - 04-06-2012 ![]() Hello. This is Sol Fenrir of the Lost Star Vigilantes, currently based in Taus.
We are an organization founded about four months ago, working against the slavery, slavers and their employers, the Maltese. We are actively taking part in the battles fought in Taus to keep the Outcasts at bay, striking their war parties at any opportunity, making sure that our message is sent across clearly. The message that we won't stop blowing them up until they free all their slaves and become a peaceful, happy, hippy community which gets along with their neighbors, like they are supposed to be. We are aware of the dangers of our cause, and that the enemy we are fighting is a lot stronger than us, but our vigilantes are committed, our guerilla tactics have been successful so far. We have been hearing reports from our informants that some smugglers and slavers gave up on Taus and decided to move through Sigmas to avoid us, which is just a natural response to the increased dangers of conducting their 'business' in Taus. Even though it makes sense, we are not aware of the quantity of the smugglers that pass through your neighborhood in a day, or if they are regularly using those routes. So we are unsure if we should extend our operations to your area, or if you would be welcoming us. Our aims, conduct and the GMG's own look like they are in line, as I have to note that we had engagements with Hogosha pirates in the past, and due to our relationship with our supporters in Taus, we do not like the playful and malcontent side of Krugers much either. Corsairs... well... they are scum to be killed, nothing better than the Outcasts. We would like to send a scouting party to Sigmas, to see the place ourselves and start counting what we see. We thought it would be nice to inform you about this and it would also be amazing if you allowed our ships temporary refuge in your bases while we are there, for refuels, meals, renting some rooms if available and such. It would allow us to meet with your people and have a chat, our possible partners in the future. Any information you can provide us about the traffic of smugglers and the Outcasts forces in the area is also welcome. If everything goes well, we would like to recieve your support for our operations in Sigmas after this little visit, which is crucial for us as our people in Sigmas will be cut off from the rest of us in Taus, it's far you know. This support would be allowing us to register in your bounty board, at first, and then letting us use your bases in Sigmas to lead our operations from. In return, we would keep your people in the area safe, take part in the defence of your bases from your enemies, also hunt your targets specified in that bounty contract. Your support will allow us to siege the Maltese from both sides, Taus and Sigmas, which will reduce the supplies reaching them and coming from them hopefully, putting more pressure on them. It just looks like to me a good plan and beneficial for both sides on the paper. If you would like some referance about us, we will direct our current supporters for our operations in Taus into this transmission. But because we have an agreement that we can't name them to third parties, we will get their permission about this if you request so, at first. We will be awaiting your response. Wishing you a good day. Rest assured it is on the agenda for their next meeting. As a general rule, provided there are no obvious hostile reputations, bounty hunters, freelancers, and other mercenaries are generally free to operate in our space. We have centuries of cooperation with such 'unique' individuals. Should you liberate any unfortunate souls from the unremitting slave trade - feel free to take them to Planet Miura. We pay a hefty finder's fee for their safe recovery planetside. With regards, Azuki Tamagochi ***END TRANSMISSION*** To: GMG Board of Directors - Sol - 04-09-2012 ![]() Hello again, from the Lost Star Vigilantes.
We have just learned that our group has been granted access to your bounty board. Thanks for deciding to support our efforts. I hope this will be the start of a long and beneficial partnership for both parties. If you have any concerns, problems and such about our group, or if in the future something troubles you about us, please contact us and we will try to fix it to the best of our abilities. We are sending our scout team to check out your neighborhood now. See you there, hopefully. Vigilante Sol Fenrir <div align="right] ☼ |
