Aiden walks in after a long shift. Clearly exhausted, poorly shaved, and at his wits end. He takes his usual seat at the bar and takes a long look around the room. Gone are all the familiar faces and friends he has served with. At least the same old bartender was still there.

The bartender hands him a large glass of Liberty ale. Aiden takes a long drink and sits it down, his head in his hands.
Whats bothering you? Don't think I've ever seen you this down on yourself?
I dunno. Things just seem to always be getting worse, ya know? Seems like we are rolling downhill and there's nothing we can do to stop it. I guess I'm starting to wonder what the hell we do it all for.
