The Secrets of Sirius - Death.RunningVerminator - 04-13-2012

"It is time, Torro"

Death Runner activated the door allowing him and his most trusted soldier to enter. The room was dark except for a small box that sat on a table in the middle. It's crevices emitted a white light, a familiar yet distant light that every human being knew of. It resembled the glow and warmth of a normal sun in a solar system. Death Runner rolled his wheelchair to the box and gestured for Torro to approach.

"Torro Trait.. No, no.. I will call you by your real name. Lucifer Capac."

He approached, cautiously.

"W-what is it, sir?"

"It is time. You are ready."

"What do you mean?"

"You, I believe, are mature enough to understand what I am. What you are. What this world is.. And the purpose we have in it."

"W-What?.."

Death Runner sighed, and for a moment silence and suspense filled the air.

"I suppose.. I should start from the beginning.. I was a clone. You know this. I set out to find my own path. And I did. I became an outcast. Pirating, looting, killing was my life. Until one day.. One day I ventured further than I should have. To Planet Albegna."

Torro Trait was taken aback. That planet.. Their base is stationed directly within it's orbit. Right behind it.

"That's.. "

"Yes, I know. It's where Arausio Sanctuarium is placed outside of.. Anyways. I crash landed there. And I survived."

"Oh. Well.. Doesn't it lack suitable o-"

"Oxygen? Yes.. It does lack the atmosphere capable of life."

Several Years Earlier...

"Frak.. FRAK! Oh god damnit FRAK! What the.. what the hell?! Damnit!"

He looked at his left leg, broken at the knee.

"Damnit! NO!"

The ship was in bad condition, the mountain came out of nowhere and caused a crash landing minutes before. The man's leg knee was busted, pieces of bone scattered throughout the cockpit. His eyes were shutting from the trama, about to enter into a coma.

His heart pounded.

Heavier and heavier his body became. He looked down at his leg. The wound was closed, the bone inside his leg moved underneath his skin. He observed himself heal, slowly but surely his knee re-appeared and took shape as it should have been before the crash. The cells inside him regenerate at a rapid pace, being the clone and experiment of his former self, Dr. Death.

"That bastard.. Actually came up with something useful. Heh.. Maybe I shouldn't have killed him.. "

Then he realized it. No oxygen. He was on a planet filled with a sand like ground, and after stepping outside of his ship, every movement he took it felt as though he sunk into the surface more and more.

Days past, weeks, no one would miss him. No one knew his name. He ventured on, not knowing why or for what. Walking across the sands of a planet that couldn't bear life. Was he.. alive? He didn't know. Walking was his only purpose.

The whisper was soft, yet menacing with the sting of poison.

"So, The Leviathan returns.."

"Who's there?!"

Death Runner stopped in his tracks, turning his head wildly searching for the source of the voice that beckoned out to him. He stopped for a moment, thinking that it was just in his head.. tricks of the desert. Hallucinations. Nothing was in sight but the hills and hills of sand and dust. Only the desert and himself were there. Or so he thought.

Out of the sand in front of him a figure emerged from the ground, his flat body raised slowly, almost levitating but the heels of his feet remained on the sand.

"Ahhhhhhh. It is good to get out and into the fresh air every now and then, hm?"

The figure was of a human appearance, wearing only rags as clothing around the torso and legs. Death Runner was taken aback. He stepped away, readying himself for a fight.

"W-Who are you? What do you want?"

"Who am I, you ask? Who am I?!.. I am Albegna. The sands of time and the dead of Sirius."

"What? What the hell are you talking about?"

The figure scrunched up his face as if disappointed and walked towards the man.

"Sirius. Oh, Sirius. Long ago.. Wait. No, no.. Long, LONG, ago.. There were these.. relics. Hmm. Yes, yes I'll call them relics. They.. were brought forth by several spiritual beings of.. light and peace. The beings, known as the Daam K'Vosh, gave their lesser brothers these relics. Wait.. no no. Let me tell you this - The Daam K'Vosh were quite powerful and enlightening beings. Oh yes. They were a race far beyond what you.. you uh.. things could imagine! And when I say lesser, I still mean quite powerful! Right, well.. The Daam K'Vosh handed their relics over to the beings of similar origin called the Savanir Da'tosh. I am one of them. We were given the task of creating what was not there. And so we did.. Our leader, Sirius, used his relic to create the systems you know and see today. But.. All didn't go as well as planned, I must say.. The Daam K'Vosh were unhappy. I don't know what went on behind closed particle beams, but Sirius and whoever else got in some sort of argument. He was defeated. The rest of us Savanir De'tosh were forced to leave with the rest of the relics we had. Few of us survived on our own. Without support of our more advanced brothers we didn't stand a chance. We were hunted. Despised... And so, our numbers diminished. We went into hiding, many of us separated. I told my fellow beings that I would leave and head north into hibernation. And so, I did. I embedded myself within the planet and kept my relic safe."

Death Runner was extremely confused by now, his eyes searching for a visual answer that wasn't there.

"W-What?.. There's no way. You're in my imagination!"

The Savanir De'tosh laughed with his head back.

"That's funny. But no. I'm not your imagination. In fact, you are a part of me!"

//relax. nothing will change. nor am i looking to change/add anything to nomad lore.. well, maybe. xD

The outcast raised an eyebrow at the suspicious figure and the two stood there starring at each other in silence.. which was quickly broken with a hardy laugh by Death Runner.

"Hahahahaha! Oh, oh my. That's funny. This.. this thing, this is pretty funny!"

He turned around with a big smile on his face and walked while laughing to himself.

"Look man I don't know who you are or what you're talking about so I'm just going to be on my way now. Walking.. this way, away from you. Sooo.. cya!"

Death Runner kept walking away from the displeased figure that still stood there, paces away from him.

"There's no where to go. No one to help you. No possible way for you to get off this planet. Don't you understand? Planet. This is a PUH-LAN-IT!"

He stopped walking and faced the ragged figure and self-proclaimed extra-terrestrial.

"Okay then.. How do I know what you're saying is true? How do I know you're this.. this.. nomad thing?! And what the hell is a leviathan?! A part of you or some bull****, huh?!"

The figure tilted his head to the side and showed a small smile, starring at the angry and confused outcast. He lifted his arm slowly, then showed his palm out to the sand underneath him as it gave way in a rumble. His palm lit up with nomadic symbols - a sort of activation code - and the two fell underneath the ground of the planet with the sand they stood on.

Death Runner was knocked unconscious from the fall. He awoke several hours later. There was no light, only darkness. He could see nothing around him but the pitch black void.

"Ah, you're awake. Well then. I suppose I should introduce you to the evidence you requested.. Behold.. THE RELIC!"
