I can confirm and speak for the integrity, bravery and shear hard work that the DarkWing organisation have put into the defence of Liberty space.
My people flying [KoF]-Convoys speak very favourably about the many times that DW escorts have ensured safe delivery of cargo many times. The bravery, efficiency and skill of these DW pilots is above question.
[KoF] Escort fighters such as Bill Riker, Engineer-Scotty, Excalibur, Bloodhound, Drover, Rigo_Mortis and many others have fought side by side in the defence of Liberty space with the DW clan. We have fought against [LH], [RoS] and Phantoms as well as individual pirates such as Basalisk and Xeno's and Terrorists, Mon'Star and others.
The LSF have fought at our side and there can be no doubt that the safety of Liberty at times depended on all 3 sides working together.
At that time the [SA] Liberty Navy were poorly funded and organised and never had any objections to us helping.
It now seems that the [SA] are better funded and organised and don't require any help on their "turf"
I'll be quite honest here, in my opinion that must feel like a slap in the face to the DW clan.
Sort of "piss off we don't need you now" "oh yea and btw get your own ships"???
The DW deserve more respect and better treatment than that guys.
I will ask [KoF] High Command if we can donate any funds to assist our friends the DW in changing the ships that they use. Maybe the [SA] could help with a similar donation.
This situation should have been handled at the negotiating table in the first place.
Without bullying or indeed any shots being fired.
DW should have a period of grace to allow them to make changes.

John Talon walks in the room, grinning at Goodman and saluting the Fleet Admiral, he then proceeds to sit down and is informed by them as to what has been said in the room.
Right, I have been an officer in Liberty for the past what..5 months? Quite a long time, but not nearly as long as some. And I must say that in that time I have seen Darkwing aid Liberty one...single..time. Now, I live off and for the law, and that means that my off duty time is nearly non existent, so I've been there all throughout days, perhaps resting for two to three hours at a time, and still no sign of Darkwing. Then suddenly they appear one day, in a Liberty carrier and other vessels of ours, claiming that they had permission for them, yet they didn't show any papers and or credentials that would prove this fact. If you are unable to explain your vessel in such a manner then Leo Goodman did a good thing, I would have shot, and destroyed the said vessel if I was there.
John leans on the table and peers at Suzanna, wondering what excuse he'll hear this time.

After turning towards Chakotay and looking at him for a while Talon grins and proceeds to answer his statement.
This is in no way a slap towards the Darkwing for their previous deeds and I'm sure there have been some before I came along, but the present is at stake here and they have, as I said, so far provided no papers or anything that can prove that those ships were in fact..handed to them. Possessing such ships without being a member of the Navy or the LSF, is highly illegal, and we have no idea how they acquired them. But if a satisfactory explanation is given, they're well within their rights to keep them and we won't harass them about it. Until they do such ships are illegal in their hands.

"Well folks, back when my ship was named Lapsed Pacifist, I can assure you the DW were very active in keeping Liberty clean, hell I remeber one time DW and a few independent Bounty Hunters were all that stood between New York and a Nomad invasion. It was the DW's quick thinking and excellent leadership that enabled us to win the day and force the squids back where they belong. I concur with Chakotay, you guys want them to change ships, that's just dandy, but give them a grace period to do it in. Don't just expect an immediate change, hell after what they've done for you, I'd expect a little respect."

After listening to Joshua's response on the comms, Talon's face darkens as he responds.
Sir Joshua, their loyalty was never in question, and they do have a period in which they can remove their ships and have assured us they will, I haven't even seen a point in this discussion because it is settled already. As to me saying they have not helped us in the past 5 months, they have no helped us..while I was there. As said I rest very little and only when in dire need and I have not seen them, I have seen them fly around on occasion though but I've not seen them in the Liberty capital vessels, they've appeared very recently and I'm wondering as to how did they acquire them, that's all.
John leans back and lights a cigarette while waiting.

I do not see any point to discussing this further. I will discuss the following position with Darkwing Command.
1. Darkwing will dismantal the 2 Liberty Carriers.
2. Darkwing will not take any hostile action against any individual in Liberty Space.
3. Darkwing will protect themselves regardless of location throughout Sirius.
In a nutshells for you arrogant ones who dont like to listen.
1. Yes we will get rid of the carriers.
2. If anyone starts shooting up SA or LSF..all we will do is bring popcorn.
3. If you dont shoot us in liberty space, we wont kill you. This applies to pirates as well.
And before you arrogant little juveniles start up again..you attacked us.
You wanted an answer to why the Marksman was what he was. You should have handled it diplomatically and contacted DarkWing command, just like you would want the same if the situation was reversed...OH, yea..your pissant goodman did use that .. he wanted us to talk to some armory instead of answering for his actions...DONT ask for that which your unwilling to give children.
So this is how I feel as an indivudual that has come to Liberty's aid. I am sure that Suzanna will make the official response.

Sir, I suggest you refrain from such comments and remove yourself from a diplomatic discussion, or I will have to take the necessary measures...and throw you in jail, or kill you. If such a stupid person as yourself is the best Darkwing has to offer, I'm not sure that we want you in Liberty, now as I said, remove yourself from the discussion, this is no place for insults, although I'm tempted to say a few of my own for such people as yourself. So please, be quiet or leave, and let your leader handle this in a diplomatic manner. Let the big boys..and girls handle this, so to speak, or we "juveniles" might get cranky.

Hello i am late? oh well no matter, Since i am a mere recruit i think i have no say against this, but there has been multiple times where the DarkWing bounty hunters came to my aid, and saved my hide MANY time, i do not believe what Leo did was right because i have never seen DW break ANY laws. and if the pilot had a carrier, what did he do to deserve to get shot? DW is friendly i do not wish to see them go, but as i said i am on SA's side and will not commit mutiny or treason, i am just explaining my thoughts. and since there are already many Liberty capital ships being bought by the Northern Alliance pilots, why not give one to Pilots that will help us and to use it wisely.
