Hello
I have a problem with the resolution 1600x1200 32bit.
in this resolution, I can not see my boat speed nor my distance to a target, if I resize the resolution I see it.
can you help me because I like the high resolution and see everything?

No I do not use the launchpad
For all other resolutions I see everything
I guess that the writer is too big for 1600x1200 resolution

I had the same problem. It has been a while, but i think i installed the updated on my old Freelancer installation and I could not play in 1600x900 mode. My fonts would look at messed up and some info would be out of the screen. So I deleted everything and installed Freelancer from scratch, I think Cannon made sure that all of his updates/tweaks are included in the 4.86 install files.
Then i changed the resolution to 1600x900 in PrefOptions.ini.
This file located at:
C:\Documents and Settings\[USER]\My Documents\My Games\Freelancer
size= 1600, 900
Make sure you copy it directly like that with all the spaces.
Also, modify your freelancer.exe with:
Freelancer.exe -dx
I hope this helps.
p.s. You can also search the forum for "Freelancer in 1600x900 resolution" That is how i got all my help/knowledge.

I've never heard of the launchpad, I've downloaded it once.
I have to say some nice, now in 1920x1200 resolution kannich go and see all the data distance, only the ship's own data, I still do not see it, this I see only then, if the resolution of I
1680x1050 sit back, I see everything.
I believe one can reduce the fonts generally what times, or else should choose Font, then determined the problem would be solved at all resolutions.;)

can someone give me 1440x900 resolution? I think that one would be better then my current 1280x960
