Things have now settled in a bit at the base, and I can finally turn my attention to other things than pointing out where to place that table, and where to hang that painting, and deciding which color the walls should be... *runs his hands through his hair* Just thinking about it makes me tired. So, I told my associate, Ms. Callahan, to take care of it. After all... What the hell do I know about interior decoration? *laughs* So... Let's see if we can find some work for you!
As I understand it, you own a Clydesdale, right? That's a good ship. Fast and reliable. But since it's not heavily armored, I don't wanna send you straight into trouble. I was thinking that maybe you could handle some of the daily supplies to the base. Things like food, water, oxygen and maybe some repair materials, if you're up to it. Let me be putting forth what I propose, and perhaps you be finding it of interest, yes? I be understanding that I 'aven't the capacity to be supplying you industrially, and while I be willing to help you with your daily needs, I be thinking that such tasks not be falling under my speciality so to speak. As 'ead of Malton Exports and Expeditions, I be traveling all across the Sirian 'ouses taking items from one spot to another. I be thinking perhaps that I could be offering the same services to yourself? You be needing the finest of 'olo-sculptures from the Orbital Spa & Cruise Liner "Hawaii" to provide diversion for your guests? Perhaps the finest Junyo Fire Pearls or Kruger Diamonds for your lovely associate Ms. Callahan, or as items for your visitors to purchase? And certainly a man such as yourself be appreciating a fine cigar every now and again, yes? Such items and more I be willing to retrieve for yourself from across the known spaces of Sirius, if you be desiring such. And of course, I musn't be forgetting that "Expeditions" be a part of my business as well. I just be checking back with you to be seeing if you be in need of my services yet. I be remembering that as of our last in person discussion that your focus be upon your station, but seeing as it's been a few weeks since that time, I be figuring you be pretty close to being ready for other business. Be letting me know at your earliest convenience sir. Oh, and be pleased to note that I be operating a second vessel now as well, a "Spatial", that I be using for mining and deep space operations. I be figuring that may be of interest to you as well.
