It has been brought to our attention that the most recent issue of the Kusari Legal Codex has caused great concern among corporate traders operating out of the Kingdom of Gallia. In particular, there has been a restriction on essential commodities that may be classed as war materiel.
After conducting an internal investigation, the following two matters have been highlighted:
1) Technical consultants from our two main Keiretsu, Kishiro Technologies and Samura Heavy Industries, have indicated they are able to increase production of commodities deemed as war materiel. I am informed that ready access to Gallic Cryocubes will give our factories a new method of cooling - essential if machinery and control systems are to exceed their rated output.
2) An internal audit found a small group of bureaucrats engaging in unethical practices. It seems that Gallic Corporate traders were asked to bring in a set number of commodities, of specific types. We suspect that these bureaucrats were intending to skim the profits, or divert the resources to personal contracts. The people implicated in these actions have been duly punished as a result.
As a result of the investigations of the Office of the Foreign Minister, we are pleased to inform you that all Gallic Corporations are deemed fully licensed to export war materiel back to Gallia.
