Since yesterday, it is almost impossible to play the game.
It's lagging and stuttering as hell.
I've not changed any settings and/or system configuration.
Why does it now not work anymore?

You could provide with relevant info like system configurations etc.

have you tried reinstalling FL?

This may also be a FAM issue. I used to have a similar problem and i discovered that another freelancer.exe was running - this happens when i switched accounts in FAM.

My game was freezing and lagging like hell: Impossible was play,

I discovered by exiting freelancer and opening Task Manager that there was a second freelancer.exe running. I terminated that freelancer.exe in Task Manager and i entered ingame and all is good now.

I think therefore that when you are switching between accounts in Fam then just sometimes freelancer.exe doesn't shut down correctly and can cause lagging with two freelancer.exe's running at the same time.

Now its better for me, but i will always check Task Manager first if my picture is freezing.
