Class 2 Turrets - Syrus - 04-30-2012
Alright, I'll take a shot at this as well - again.
Class 2 Turrets, also called Heavy Fighter Turrets.
So, I want to request some Class 2-turret speeds to be fixed as well as some Class 2-turrets to be added.
I'm asking for the speed changes, because the turrets should have the same speeds as the guns, as almost all freighters use guns and turrets, this would otherwise screw up the aim a bit.
The following turrets would require such changes:
Drake Turret Type C (650 ms -> 600 ms)
Reaper Turret Mk III (650 ms -> 600 ms)
Skyblast Turret B (700 ms -> 750 ms)
Splitter Turret (750 ms -> 700 ms)
Of course this could also be done the other way around, by increasing gun speeds. It might also be necessary to do this to Class 1 versions of those turrets as well...
The following guns need equivalent turret counterparts:
Carbine II
Imp. Debilitator Mk I
Imp. Debilitator Mk II
Dragunov SVD-2 (if the SCRA wants them?)
Heavy Flashpoint
Fury 5
Pot-de-fer II
Reaver Mk III
There is no reason for those not to exist.

SCRA dont have ships to use snub turrets. not yet at least. but you are free to make em

Yes, I agree that we need the turrets to match the guns better. Could make flying freighters a little more fun. And would make outfitting a ship quite a bit easier.
