Good evening Gentlemen.

It is good to be in command of the Cygnus once again.

With the Cygnus activity within Omega 50 and 49, I ran into an unknown ship. Their ID and markings were of a class I have only skimmed over in reviewing the database of ships. It was a Hydra class gunboat, belonging to some group called the Colonials. Odd how its description was '€œTyphoon.'€ At first I believed it was a Coalition ship, but no additional markings pointed in that direction. Never the less, I ordered the Cygnus to take a parallel course and entered Omega 49.

With no apparent issues we held position at the Jump hole and were about to return to Omega 50. Until this ship turned up. A Coalition destroyer. We made no aggressive moves, or any hostile communications. What additionally struck us was that Colonial gunboat came about and held in a rather tactically aggressive stance with the destroyer. Again, no hostilities transpired.

I do not believe in coincidences and choose to perused the matter further so we perused them. With no open communication between the two ships, this could be understood as a planned meeting. We approached a new Jump hole in Omega 49 and it lead us to a region of space I simply cannot explain. Navigation received local telemetry and returned with the system name '€œCayman.'€

We made one last local scan and soon evaded the system to return to Omega 49.
