how do i do character money tranfer and all that stuff - Forever_Eon - 05-16-2012
1.) How do i transfer my character money to another one of my characters?
2.) How do i transfer reputation, if at all possible?
3.) How do i transfer equipment, such as ID's?
4.) Basically, do i have to start a new character, with no money, no reputation, and a cruddy ship?

1)Money transfer commands can be found here.
2)Each of your characters has their own reputation, so you would have to adjust each by missions, killing NPCs and bribes.
3)If you know another player who can hold equipment while you swap between characters you could transfer them that way. However, you aren't allowed to carry multiple IDs or fly without one mounted, so you wouldn't be able to swap IDs in this way.
4)You can always use the restarts to start with a slightly less cruddy ship.

You press enter and bring up the text box.
1. Type /givecash [character name] [amount]
Example: /givecash The.Betty 1000000
2. Not possible, but use aerelm's guide here for setting up reputations fast and easy.
3. Equipment, get a buddy to help you or drop it in space and quickly log on another character that you logged out of using F1 in the same spot, and hope that no NPC's stole your stuff while you where changing characters. ID's shouldn't be a problem though, if you follow aerelm's guide (there used to be a rule about not having ID's in your cargo hold, and I think it is still in effect)
4. If you have money on one character, start a new one and follow aerelms guide. Once you have done your /restart, transfer the money to it (when you use the /restart command mentioned in Aerelm's guide, it overwrites your current character so watch out). Then follow the rest of the steps - bribing and whatnot - and pick up your ship and ID.
If you don't have any money, you can use the /restart command and get a little less cruddy ship.

If you have money from other accounts, the guide that was linked to by Mimir contains easy ways to get the IFF of most of the factions.
