I would like to clarify following part of the tutorial, just tested it myself:
"Keep in mind bases that are not kept supplied will perish. All cargo and credits on the station are lost. Ships docked to the station at the time of its demise will appear 100k below the system's sun when they un-dock."
It should be:
"100k below the center of the map, after you log-in or un-dock."

I am having a slight problem with my Base building a mod. first is it a common problem that when trying to dock with optronic array that you are denied docking right and have to reload the game. second if i understand correctly the materials to build a mod are consumed and not saved in the storage. if that being the case why when I have 19400 empty storage and try to offload my optronic arrays that are 4990 the base tells me I have reach storage limit. some answers on this would be helpful seeing now I am stuck with half the materials with no completion in sight

1. There seems to be a problem for ships coming from Planet Honshu. I have posted a bug report regarding this. I go to the FA base in Honshu and get my Optronic Arrays there, no bug so far from there.
2. The first time a commodity is sold to a PoB, you have to be logged in as Admin. After that you can sell it without logging in at 1 Credit per commodity. That is until you adjust the prices via the /Shop Price command.

the issues with it taking the items has seem to correct it self after logging out and back but the optronic arrays is still the issue that is the most annoying. I buy the hardware there on Honshu as well and it never kept me from docking on the base it just seem the one that is the problem

I need some help plz.
I followed the guide, but I'm not sure if I'm doing it right.
I set up my base, got the crew, oxygen, water and food.
Collect reinforced alloy until it couldn't take any more.
In the guide it says it starts with 40% health, but when I started it had like 5% health, so you can imagine my panic. As I said I sent all that I could to the base. But it seems like it's not repairing to 100%. I been watching it for about 2 hours and still the same.
Am I doing anything wrong or should I wait longer?

The percentage has changed recently, so dont worry about that. has it started eating the RA yet??

That %5 is quite a lot, do not worry. It used to be %40 when total base HP was much weaker. It also takes your base a while (around 2 weeks if you only use RA) to repair fully.
