The Rally: Omicron Gamma - New York

Buenos Dias honored Señores y Señoritas,

you have received this invitation because you have made somewhat of a name for yourself as an able trader in ..less legitimate goods.
To come to the point, the year day of the first artifact trade in history, the James Bown commemoration day is night! To honor him, his great deed and our business we want you to recreate his deeds - deliver our precious artifacts to the heart of Liberty, New York!
Take part in this Holiday and be rewarded like James Bown was - with riches, honor and glory!
Also...there might be something more for you if you prove yourself really worthy and interested into a .... more prolonged relationship with the familia and the Empire.

The Prizes:
1st 50.000.000 Sirian Credits
2nd 35.000.000 Sirian Credits
3rd 20.000.000 Sirian Credits

Are given to those brave caballeros who are the fasted on our round circuit, according to the rules.


Additional prizes:

-Whoever successfully docks on Manhatten earns another 5.000.000 Sirian Credits
-The last to finish gains a true Corsair Parrot to guide him on further escapades
-The one who gets caught most often wins an Advanced Cargo Scanner to be able to study his path better in the future.


Now to the rules:

- Only registered vessels may participate, latecomers will have to pay a participation fee.
- This event is for transports and freighters only.
- All participants join into one group with the judge and are not allowed to leave it or face disqualification.
- Everyone docks on Planet Crete to pick the most beautiful and surely functionable artifacts he can get from our markets.
- Once everyone is supplied and within reasonable distance to the judge he will start the gloryfull rally!
- You will then race to New York on any way you prefer, and sell your artifacts to a base or planet of your choice.
- After selling your artifacts you pick up either food rations, luxury food, consumer goods or luxury consumer goods and race back to Planet Crete.
- Each dropoff has to be proven by guncam shots with a readable timestamp, aswell as a copy of the artifact sale!
- During the race you are not allowed to engage your fellow racers, disrupting engines is allowed outside of Omicron Gamma.
- Your hold has to consist of at least 50% Artifacts or return goods.
- The use of a so called Jump drive is seen as honorless and therefore forbidden.
- If you get caught and shot down you may restart at Planet Crete.
- You and eventual escorts are expected to behave perfectly while in the heart of the Corsair Empire, so sneaking around, intelligence gathering, cardamine , blood diamonds an slaves will get you shot down and into the deepest dungeons!
- Escorts may not engage fellow racers other than using CDs, escorts may engage other escorts who disrupt "their" smuggler or to weaken another group - as soon as they are outside of Omicron Gamma

Maybe i have to be clearer so people don'T shy away because they are no corsairs:

a, You won't be eaten
b, You don't have to be a sair to participate, actually non-sairs are favoured due to the story of the event! So all you Zoners, Junkers, Gaians, Unioners, Hogosha and freelancers with a freighter or a transport can show up. Coorporate "friends" might have to look a bit closer on their reputation...but oh well!

I hope we can dig out some more participants and guests so we can rp the complete party with live feeds from the racers!
