When system ideas are thrown around it can be a very busy and exciting time for the community. But now everything is settling in and what were once ideas are becoming a solidified reality I think its time to celebrate these accomplishments accordingly.
Flying through the Exiles mod has been a wonder to behold. Proof that a game over 9 years old can still be expanded to test our imaginations.

I'd like to thank everyone who posted in the nominations topic yesterday. Alot of suggestions had to be overlooked due to a slight misunderstanding of the process. However despite the multiple choices of many members I was able to narrow it down to those most frequently mentioned overall.
The poll will be open for three days so that the opinions of the rest of the community can be taken into account.

Burgundy, easily. Interesting poll.
As an ex-GRP member, Burgundy was the main system we based in during .85, and not only is the system incredibly pretty, I'd say it's well designed. And it was the only .85 Gallic System with a lawful dockable planet. I haven't flown around in .86 enough to know what most of the other systems are like, but I saw Newcastle on there. Anyone who votes for Newcastle is insane.:P

Voted Penn. since it reminds me of my first days here. Mind you I started when NY was the starting system, but you still see that innocence when someone is born into the mod.
A close second based on sexiness alone is Cayman. Easily the nicest looking bases in the game and that hidden planet just makes it all the better.
