Admin Notice: Player Sanctioned - Reverend Del - 06-08-2012

[CBL]-Alan.Corentin has been sanctioned for:

Quote:3.1 Using coarse language, posting abusive, hateful, racist content in chat, public or private is prohibited under any circumstances. Any kind of flaming, threatening or insulting language directed at other members, factions or server administrators in chat, public or private, is prohibited on server and on forums. RP-related threats are allowed on the server.

Consequences:

You were given plenty of time to respond, you specifically stated you had a perfectly good escape pod and that you'd not be paying. Then when the cruiser decided that gunfire was a suitable replacement for money, you chose to PM the guy to complain. Thought the terms you used were very mild, the fine is leas of a slap for the 3.1 and much more of an attempt to get you to take your licks like a man. No rules were broken by the pirate. All roleplay was met.

Fair enough. Although I don't agree that I said I wasn't going to pay. The conversation I remember was approximately "how much is your life worth", which I replied to with (again, approximately) "since I have an escape pod, you're asking me how much my ship is worth, not my life". To me this isn't me saying I wasn't going to pay. This is me changing what I'm paying for - my ship instead of my life.

However, I didn't expect him to just take that as a no and decide to open fire. Which is when I got annoyed and, well, broke the rules - which I of course shouldn't have, I'll admit that any day of the week.
