new type of ship in game - Submarines - Nikita - 06-22-2012 After telling my idea about anti-cap ship from nomads,which is primary target - enemy BS\BC\Cruisers\carriers. I want to present new type of ships,because we need it. Why? - because we have new weapon and equipment, and we have no ships which must use is tacticaly.For example > for torpedo we have bombers,not fighters,not gb,only bombers. Cloaks for now - are universal,ye,but we need some type of ships which will use it specific. Entry: Kriegsmarine - in game,impeiral fleet of Rheinland,aka Nazi Germany fleet in real world (in past) Bundesmarine - fleet of Germany after it defeat in Second world war,fleet of Germany in real time. What we have - democratic republic of Rheinland with Bundesmarine in game,after defeated imperial Rheinland in GMG war. All talks about nazy Rheinland now - is out of time. Ship: Rheinland submarine,part of Bundesmarine. Picture: Full 3D picture here Type:heavy atomic submarine (atomic,this is not mean weapons - this is mean engine,it will use MOX as primary fuel,so this is big size of atomic engine inside) Price: near 650 mil with heavy cloak. Size of submarine: ~near to Battlecruiser. Hull: near 250 000 Torpedohold: from 100 -150 Cargohold: 2750 units (enough to be submarine) Energy: 1 250 000 Shield: GB (100 000) Guns: 1 heavy cruiser turret (light mortar ot missle) 1 bs 8 class slot (for flak) 10 gb turrets 10 torpedo slots (launchers) Thruster: yes Cd: yes.(first i think to not add CD,but later i imagine,that if they will launch their torps and mortars to enemy ship - he can cruise on and run from them,this is will kill all tactical using of submarines,they must kill their target,but not give to run it.And if they have no CD,how this can be? Fighter will CD ship and then submarine uncloaking and will shot? better in this situation use BS,not submarine for open war,than submarines.Fighter only shows to enemy,that submarines somewhere near,this is broke all interests in game) Manoeuvrability: similar as BH BC, slow. Already placed heavy cloaking device when you will buy it.This ship will sell only from RM guard shipyards. Tactical using: with full of fuel for cloaks (cloaked) they taking their positions and preparing to attack.When target locked > they uncloaking (and start cloaking again) and opening fire on enemy from all guns and run from him (they have no guns to defend) and after 60 sec - they cloaked and can safety fly again. Rheinland submarine > biggest in game and heaviest,because Rheinland house - is militarised house. Yes,it has many minuses,Big size,slow moving and other. But this is will give interests to game.BS will not safe alone anymore. They need cover as bombers,which will easy eliminate them by torps (submarine have cloaks,but have no CM),and if 1 submarine will be under fire from 1 bomber - i think it die very fast.So this will motivate people to use at min 2 bombers in cover of fleet/Yes,This is not so much,but this is better than nothing. Bretonia submarine: Size of heavy cruiser,atomic reactor has too(using mox) Hull: near 210 000 Torpedohold: from 100 -150 Cargohold: 2100 units Energy: 1 150 000 Guns: 1 heavy cruiser turret (light mortar ot missile) 1 bs 8 class slot (for flak) 8 gb turrets 7 torpedo slots (launchers) Thruster: yes Cd - yes All in style of bretonia. Medium manoeuvrability Liberty submarine: Size of submarine: ~ medium cruiser (have no atomic reactor,thats why it have little size and big cargohold). Hull: near 185 000 Torpedohold: from 100 -150 Cargohold: 2500 units (enough for hfuel) Energy: 1 150 000 Guns: 1 heavy cruiser turret (light mortar ot missile) 1 bs 8 class slot (for flak) 7 gb turrets 8 torpedo slots (launchers) Thruster: yes Manoeuvrability - better than bretonia and Rheinland Kusary submarine: Size of submarine: ~near to light cruiser. For example: What torps it will have? Nova torps or some individual. Slots for weapons...maybe any other types. Edit:Ah yes! Gallia will have no submarines for now - this is will give Bretonia in story\real game war,take tactical advantage against tons of Gallic BS. All will be in story\game real. Gallia cant defend normaly itself from Bretonia submarines. Not slagging off at the person who made them. A lot of the comments made here are pretty well out of order. Pull your heads in! As to the substance of the matter - it could be argued that 'modern' ships are designed with stealth in mind. For certain stealth technology is being incorporated more into equipment these days. The question of Liners being the 'ultimate' in cloaked ships says more about cloak balance than anything else. In fact if Docking Modules were working - we would see Liners indeed being used like Submarines - only launching bombers to attack enemies. Yea, that sounds pretty good then. but what about destroyers? we have them for that purpose arent we? being weak to bombers/gbs, but can do big damage to BS from safe distance. also LM cant be killed with Flaks. also thanks for reminding.
