Hello.
I was in Omicron Alpha, doing a mission, killing Bounty hunters, I managed to kill my objective and got killed by a huge number of them. They were only NPC.
But, the server has written that I got killed by a player with Missile/Torpedo.
I was surprised, I didn't see any player, neither message from any player since I started my mission. No player inside a 15k perimeter.
I contacted him, surprised. He got killed by LNS 1 min after this. The player was in California, so far from Omicron alpha...and he confirmed he didn't launch any missile/torpedo from California to intercept me in Omicron Alpha. (I asked just in case :laugh:). He told me he has no missile/torpedo because he uses this ship : l3GS-1 Lane Hacker Gunship
My question is :
Do I need to do like if I died in a PVP battle ? (so...4hours out of this system...) Or because it is a bug, I could stay ?

Just a bug, happens from time to time. Dont worry about it.

As far as my knowledge gets, rules do not apply in case of bugs.

Definitely a well known bug.
When you're ONLY battling NPC's, if you end up getting shown being killed by someone who's nowhere around like that, don't worry about it.
If you are involved in an actual Player versus Player confrontation and you get killed by anything - whether it's NPC's, running into a rock, or your death message shows you got blown up by someone on the other side of Sirius - THEN you sit out for 4 hours on that character.
