Hmmm. Clan is probably not the best name to use here on Disco, tho. We are sophisticated gamers, who are above using any terminology which can be associated to any FPS games, because surely Disco is all about RP and only RP, you know.

and yeah back to your question
if you plan to be mercenaries - Mercenary ID , Freelancer ID
if you plan to be mercenaries hunting and shooting for money - Mercenary ID (possible unlawful contracts) , Freelancer ID (similar to mercenary id) , Bounty Hunter ID (Lawful mercenaries)
just avoid making a faction that will be ...doing everything...mining , trading , hunting people...etc etc ...it doesn't work out that well and people tend to be a little unfriendly to such projects. I suggest you work on particular goals of you "clan" and develop them instead of making a "ALL CAN DO" faction.
Also in here we don't really use a term "clan" - faction, group, organisation etc etc most because it's an RP server...
