Dear Sir or Madam, you likely came here to complain about one of the following issues:
_________________________________________
I. Technology Abuse Foreword: The IMG has no means of restricting the use of their technology. Fact: IMG technology works almost flawlessly in the hands of Freelancers and Mercs, as well as a number of other groups. This was not intended, but it happened. Efforts to control technology spread have failed as less than 5 % of aquired crafts were registered with the IMG. Consequently the fighter and bomber technology has been opened to the markets. Open Access on IMG installations: Ships and equipment can be bought freely at IMG bases to parties that are neutral/friendly to be allowed market place access:
Restricted Access: The listed equipment can only legally be aquired after permission has been granted by the Guild.
________________________________________________________
Important: the IMG denies every responsibility for any acts that are committed by unlicensed use of technology that originated from the IMG. ________________________________________________________ To keep it simple: If you find yourself shot at by IMG equipment, simply shoot back. You can also report the ship in question to the IMG, so that the Guild can put a bounty on them or restrict docking rights to IMG installations. II. Docking Rights Abuse on IMG Installations
Reacting to complaints about a perceived lack of control in IMG docking systems, the Guild has decided to readjust and update all docking software of all IMG installations. Research has shown that the outdated software could not process some IFF and ID transponder signals correctly, also technology incompatibilities resulted in classification errors. Furthermore, IMG docking transponder codes seem to have been leaked, compromising the system partially. Consequently, the Guild has started to install a new, highly sophisticated and secure software that hopefully will allow docking operators and automated docking systems to distinguish better who to grant docking rights and who to reject. Therefore the Guild asks every witness of any docking rights abuse to report the incident to the Guild, so that the docking rights can be adjusted manually via FR-5 protocols for the ship in question or for the complete IFF or ID transponder signal in serious cases. To report an incident, please use the provided form, as it makes the updating process faster for the software admins and base technicians. The Guild would like to thank you in advance for helping in readjusting the docking systems and making your stay at IMG installations safer and more pleasant. signed: Office of Complaints Independent Miners Guild Java, Tau 23 Attachment: Download Complaint Form #2 Code: [quote] Thank you for your valuable help and have a good day.
