Admiral Malrone's Office - Asgardian - 01-27-2012
A moderately sized old oak desk takes up nearly all the space in the room, with paper piles towering on both sides of the desk. Coffee cup stains ruin the once beautiful polished table finish, with a small laptop skewed to the side of the table and a withered old rubber plant sits woefully in the corner of the room.
Between the towers of paperwork sits Admiral Jack Malrone...

Jack yells out the door to his assistant, Commander Kiley - "Who's up next, Kiley? Better not be one of those god forsaken, slime-of-the-earth, slithering-in-the-long-grass politicians again. If it is, tell 'em I'm busy."
The Senator waiting outside his office abruptly leaves after hearing the entire conversation, mumbling angrily under his breath.
Commander Kiley pauses for a moment, crossing the Senator off the list - "Uhhm...you've got the Corona Battlegroup interviews, Lieutenant Estelonte up first." Yells Kiley.
Kiley point at the Lieutenant, who rises from the seat and starts walking towards the Admiral's door.
"Come on in Lieutanant, take a seat. That one's got blood stain on it though, funny story...not what you think."
The Lieutenant quickly takes the other seat.
Jack leans back in his chair, opening the file in front of him - "Right, Lieutenant, so I understand you were a Freelancing escort in Gallia who then joined the Corona Battlegroup as a researcher after some sort of battle in Tau-23. Care to elaborate on that?"

Loraine smiles slightly at the memory of being in her homeland, before focusing on the Admiral again too quick for him to notice the zone out.
"ah yes, I was a part of a small escort service, along with The commander that you talked to the other day. We were forced to leave Gallia quite suddenly, so Claire decided to try and find somewhere for us to live and work. After her encounter with the Corona Battlegroup, who was part of the liberty Navy at the time, we decided to join their cause. I was originally going to hitching a ride on the Scarlet Pride when they got to Reunion Station, but the plan...well, it didn't go too well. I've never really been that great of a combat pilot."
Loraine pauses out of reluctance, as she still had bad memories of the fight in Tau-23.
"The fight in Tau-23 was when the Corona Battlegroup were preforming Humanitarian Aid to the Gallic Council. they were en route when the Kusari Naval Force intercepted them in leeds. They proceeded to find an alternate route to our destination, but they caught sight of the same Kusari Battleship again in Tau-31. Commander Suzaku Kururugi flew her Arrow LF to the battleship as the rest of the Corona Battlegroup personnel slipped past undetected...or so they thought. The battleship told her to leave, which she did...but not in the way he intended it. After regrouping with the others, they proceeded to Tau-23. When they arrived, within seconds, they where met with the Battleship yet again, along with a Kusari Gunboat, and several snubs. I was to meet them here in my ship. I joined them on their way to their destination, so we decided to leg it to the Orkney Jumphole, we had no intentions of exchanging fire. The Kusari Battleship engaged the Scarlet Pride, to prevent us from achieving our goal it would seem. The fighters we had tried to take the brunt of the attack, but we were eventually forced to fire back. The Kusari Naval Force there had superiority in firepower, but to add to that, other factions also started engaging us. We had several factions all aiming to destroy the Pride. I can't tell you exactly what happened after that, as when i reached the Jumphole, my ship was torn apart from enemy gunfire. My Personal Armour's the only reason im still alive today."
Loraine Fidgeted with the sleek white metal vambrace she had on for no apparent reason when she mentioned her armour.
"After that day, I was adamant that i wanted to join the Science and Research Division. I was assigned the retro-fitted prision liner CBSV-Tesla...but that was lost when Commander Suzaku Kururugi done her final stand against pirate raiders, using the self-destruct to save my crew, as i was meeting other scientists at the time. By this stage, the Corona Battlegroup had become independent, and i have been researching different technologies ever since onboard the CBSV-Lazarus IV"
Loraine shifted he weight slightly when mentioning the destruction of the the Tesla, but otherwise kept her expressions and voice tone controlled.

Afternoon Admiral.
As requested I have the proof of delivering the FloraGro from California Minor to Planet Tomioka, I also picked up a shipment of furs from Tomioka in order to sell back on Erie. I would also like to inquire about acquiring some form of clearance, which we briefly spoke about yesterday, so that I could ship these goods without having to report in every time I do so.
