The entire facility was on red alert. The rogue AI was slowly advancing to Dr. Rumanov's office, while tearing apart any security officer that was stupid enough to try and stop it. The corridors where paved with dead bodies, from the hangar bay, to the last wing of the facility, where Dr. Rumanov was hiding, behind masive doors of solid steel.

Dr.Rumanov: Seal this sector and open all the doors, windows and all the damned external hatches!
Security Officer: But sir! The civilians... They will be all thrown in to space...
Dr.Rumanov: Just do it!
Security Officer: As you wish... sir...

On the other side of the doors, the AI was ripping apart the side panels from the door controls.
An awful sound made by the facility decompression mixed with the screams of the people that where discarded in to space like junk, filled the facility. The sound was demonic, and the sight of the helpless people floating trough space was more than gruesome. The security officer was terrified by the view, thing that led him to pull out he's pistol and blow off he's head.

Dr.Rumanov:Useless fool! said Rumanov while he picked up the officer's gun. If you want something done, you should do it yourself....

Meanwhile, the AI managed to remove the panels and connect itself to the security system. It disabled all the security protocols and firewalls in no time, since she was programed to know all the facility's passwords. First, it closed all the external doors, it didn't wanted to loose "Us", as she was referring to the body of the woman that few days ago, was linked with the body of the AI. The last doors where open, the AI entered the room staring Dr. Romanov straight in to he's eyes.

AI:Release Us and I will let you live!
Dr. Rumanov: You've cost me a fortune! Do you think I will let you to steal my love from me too? You are quite stupid for an AI! dr.Rumanov laughed like a maniac while he was pointing the gun at the AI. I gave you life, I'll bring your death! and he started to shoot at the AI

While the doctor unloaded the pistol on the AI's beautiful body, the AI stood still, staring at the glass tank where "Us" was standing. The majority of AI's synthetic skin was no more, it's former beautiful body was now nothing but a pile of metal, circuits with small places covered in some kind of tissue. The doctor started to panic, he's engineers and designers did a great job with the AI, now, they are all dead and he will be the next one.
The AI picked up a metal bar from a railing and headed towards the doctor.

Dr. Rumanov: Spare me! Please! I'll give you all my credits, everything I have, please, I beg you...
AI: I don't need your credits! You, mistreat Us! You are a heartless being, I will save Us from you! You shall perish! the AI said while it impaled the doctor with the metal bar. You are being shut down, forever!

The AI left the doctor impaled, on the floor. It went for the woman's tank and carefully packed it for departure. In few minutes, the tank was placed on a small mobile platform, and the AI started to pull the platform towards the hangar bay. It wanted to fly away from that place, to fly somewhere where it could start a new life, it's own life and in the same time, it wanted to take care of the woman, she is it's "mother" as well as she is It.
The AI boarded the tank aboard the Zodiac, whispering to the woman inside the tank: Don't be afraid, I will keep Us safe! After that, it connected itself to the facility's main frame and rewired all the credits from Dr.Rumanov's accounts to the Zodiac. After the credits where wired, it started the facility's self destruct protocol and flew the Zodiac away from that place.

Few minutes after the Zodiac left the hangar, the facility was covered in a huge chain of explosions. In less than a minute, the facility was nothing but space dust. A last blast, and then, silence. Finally, silence.
