NPC's with regens - DragonRider - 08-06-2012

Hello!

To put it strait: make NPC's so they don't use nanos/batteries. Why you may ask? Well, whats the point?
Lots of time i RP with some players and then all of a sudden a group of NPC's come over and start shooting. Thats ok. I try to kill them but they use WAY too many regens!

Its like i am fighting a player, not a NPC! Its extremely annoying when I leave him only at 1% hull and he passes by me and regens to full hull and shield! Why did I even waste my time to shoot him if he is gonna do that?
There is NO reason for NPC's to use regens.

Sorry if I am going all rage on this subject but its realy pissing me off sometimes.

The highest number of regens NPCs have is 18/18. That's literally nothing.

Well, if you hit 'em with SNAC on hull, they won't regen. :P

Yeah, it would be nice if they wouldnt be able to use nanobots, but Im already satisfied with the move that they are not having CDs anymore...

Yeah, even if you fire a SNAC , they will manage to regen their shield. :D

No CDs? Thats not happening to me, BHG, LSF and Nomad NPCs still have cruise disruptors, probably more but these are the NPCs I engage most often.

Do you mean Nomad snubs or the gunboat? Gunboats and cruisers do have cruise disruptors. This is to prevent folk from cheesing through capital ship patrolled areas and thinking cruise grants them immunity. Snubs (usually scouts) do not have cruise disruptors - frequent brief encounters were generally more annoying then anything else.

As for the NPCs that come, live with them. There is a delay between the times they regen, usually more then enough to take one out with a burst of gunfire. On anything but a bomber, I have no issue taking NPCs out. On a bomber it's a bit tricky, but usually the old EMP salvo followed by a SNAC does the trick.

Yeah,I wasn'€˜t sure if it was no CDs or just none on snubs. The LSF NPCs is Alaska howwver, every avenger which comes my way seems to have infinite CDs...
