Mobile Internet - Ichiru - 08-08-2012 Hey All, I'm accessing the forums via my <strike>life-saving</strike> tethered internet connection, and I've noticed that the site uses a lot of bandwidth. Is there any way I can use less bandwidth without switching to the Lo-Fi Version? (it sucks) Mobile Internet - Ipuvaepe - 08-08-2012 disable signatures and avatars or find a plugin for your browser that stops any image larger than 128kb from loading Mobile Internet - SnakThree - 08-08-2012 Disabling all images, animations being loaded in browser could help. Plus what Puv already suggested. Mobile Internet - fencore - 08-08-2012 That. Once we get new forum software, one of our goals will be to have a mobile version. At least one of my goals will be. And that'll probably be me bothering the snot out of Cannon. Mobile Internet - Swallow - 08-08-2012 Get Opera mini and put low quality option for images. This mobile browser saves my traffic for five years already. Mobile Internet - SnakThree - 08-08-2012 ' Wrote:Get Opera mini and put low quality option for images. Opera Mini is a mobile version of Opera browser, there are different versions for smartphones (but there is no Opera Mini for WP7 for now) and a Java edition as well (for most of the phones). Opera mini (on java) ond mini only ( for all others, mobile works as ordinary browser and does not shrink pages). Just my suggestion for everyone who wants fast, traffic efficient browser on his / her phone, smartphone, PDA, ect. And I could misunderstood the OP...sorry if so. Mobile Internet - fencore - 08-08-2012 I dunno, the thread title did a pretty good job of leading us to think it was for mobile applications.
