Hey, I would like to say first that I really enjoy the mod and the forums are really good for communication between players.
But I do have an issue that I would either liked to be fixed or either be explained so that I can understand the Admin's situation.
I posted my name change about 1.5 months ago. nothing has happened
I posted a name change for my other character. That was 1 month ago
I asked a question about a possible misunderstanding with a recent sanction to my character. That was completely ignored.
Is the Admin all so busy that they cant change or respond to so many things on the Forums.
I am seriously sick of having to constantly rebuy Name change certificates because of pvp deaths with pirates.
Just so I'm clear, I dont want you to think I'm having a go at you guys. I'm just a little frustrated and would like to put my mind at ease

Hey mate
I think the admins are fairly snowed under right now, with Real life and Discovery. Be patient, send them gentle reminders at times... they will get to you.

honestly, it's quicker and easier to just create a new character and do a funds transfer than to get a name change from the admins.

If they say they are going to do it then they should do it in my opinion.
If work and discovery are so time consuming then they should do us the favour of posting an admin notice saying Name changing has been suspended for Real life reasons or whatever.
At least I will know that I dont need to carry around the NCC anymore

Yes i use the Name change certificate sometime too........
But i really think this option should be removed,As others says create another character are faster,and the Name change only waste time of ADMIN team,i vote remove this then the ADMIN team could concentrate on important thing.

PVP deaths with pirates?
Um ... what do you fly sir? If you are a trader ... there's no PVP involved ... you're just paranoid that the pirates have you tagged for your name. This of course could be true if you do not pay.
On the other hand ... if you're a pirate hunter ... learn to fly better.

Just wait a tad, ittl get done. And if you dont see the admins posting alot, or lesser sanctions appearing, you can guess that their busy. :)

Dont assume tat everyone likes to pay Baltar.
And Even though I trade, I am a Freelancer IDed individual.
My char doesnt like to follow the demands of pirate and will fight if there is a chance to win.
I would assume that's most traders though. If you can get rid of a pirate that is arrogant enough to think he is better,than it is all the more satisfying :P

Yes, getting the ship and equipment back would be.
The specifics of reputation may not be.
Refilling the map would almost certainly be very time consuming, especially for freelancer/mercenary/explorer-types that go all over Sirius.

Well, i think there are currently about 3 or 4 Admins, bit few for a server of this factor, no?
No wonder they can't do all work as fast as wanted.
I would because of that like to propose something like "half-Admins", people who have some rights, but not full Admin rights.
They could do for example the Name Changes in certain intervalls of perhaps a month or so.
And help the Admins with work.
