Jumping Zoners have disbanded - sindroms - 08-24-2012
So it has come to this.
After a detailed discussion with a few people I trust, the current problems with jump drives as well as the upcoming changes in the system, the JZ- are hereby disbanned.
This was a decision me and Raul made some time ago, understanding full well that changes will come and they will probably make the faction useless, since it was built around one specific gimmic.
All existing JZ- members should remove their tags as soon as possible.
48 members have been removed from the JZ chat and the JZ googledoc is not available any more.
The existing members should consider joining the existing zoner factions, which also use jump drives or trade.
The JZ existed for quite longer than we expected and the utter size it grew to is still astounding and it was nice to know that we did exactly what we wanted and gave these people exactly what they wanted in return. It was nice to see all of these people on Teamspeak and I did make a lot of new FL friends to spend time with.
My utmost apologies for the newest members of the JZ, since at least two of you never did get to experience jumps. I will compensate for the wasted money for your whales if you PM me with your skype name and chosen color.
It was a fun run, we did interesting things. From being the first zoner IDed group to be allowed in gallia, to proving it is possible to set up a core 4 base in one day. Jumping around hundred thousand units of ore and a total net profit of around one hundred billion credits made in the factions somewhat short lifespan. We are proud of what we done. Apart from crashing the economy..sorry about that.
Mother whale is gonna kick back in a recliner for a while and enjoy the finer things in life. Keep it safe, kids.
All current base building contracts will be paid back in full, depending on the level of completion.
