Tested... well concept is great but I did not remember ages long loading times since I played Gothic 3 and I was not able to pass through first mission against Cylons on low graphic settings due to extreme low FPS.

It uses a different one, the FreeSpace Open engine (edited FreeSpace 2 engine) which is actually pretty good and has good loading times.
I've played Diaspora some, it's pretty nice. I recommend others to do the same,

Where did I said about Gothic 3 and Diaspora having same engine? Nowhere. I just pointed out fact that at least for me loading times in this BSG thingie are so long that reminds me of my Gothic 3 playthrough. Which is bad.

This is freaking amazing. I have been following this project on the Hard Light forums for YEARS, but had written it off as something that would never get done (but they said the same thing about Silent Threat Reborn) and now I am glad that they took the time to polish the product. The flight mechanics are great, the voice acting is phenominal, the MUSIC IS SUPERB and overall it's a ton of fun to fly. The last project like this was the Wing Commander Saga, and I must say that I enjoyed this more because of my BSG fanboyism.
