Ok, iv been running with this idea of anew character in my head for a while.
for those who know the White Wolf RPG Vampire be it the VG or the classic one in the book i want to base my character loosely off the Malkavians, as in he/she hears voices, only speaks in riddles, generally a rather insane person. i plan on being a interdependent unlawful, im not going pirating traders or basically attacking anyone(he/she has no need for such materialistic items heh). i want to be piloting either a gunship or a cruiser class ship, but mu plan is just to fly around sirius and RP...basically exposing others to my madness(those i the know can vouch that just by the way a malkavian speak will make for some great RP opportunity's.) uinill i figure out my characters place within the community.

now the questions i have are.

what faction would suite this character, i was thinks slight nomad infection, and dammaged, but not under nomad control?

what ship, i want something a bit 'alien' looking, i was thinking corasiar, zoner...im not sure

what are your thought on this?

please any suggestion, comments, anything would appreciated.

There isn't really such a thing as "partially" Nomad infested, although PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) might do the trick. Especially if said trauma involved Keeper communication, it can be rather disorienting.

For ships, please no Corsair or Talarca... they're cool ships, for the first hundred... maybe the Homeworld ships? There's an excellent freighter sold on the Battleship in Omega-15 that can beat up most transports and looks suitably semi-alien.

ok that could that idea could work to explain the crazies.
but what fraction should i affiliate this character with, i was thinkg using a merc id, but this i dont want this character to do much pvp. i want him to be a relatively neutral with most factions but sill have room for some aggression if RP goes that way.
so i was thinking zoner or maybe junker.

as for the ships, im just thinking out loud, what ship i choose is a very low priority right now, i want to get the story and stuff knocked out first.

im still new to this whole RP thing, but i think if im pointed into the right direction, it could lead to some fun RP in and out of game.

I love your attitude toward this, its far better than most of the "cool ship, must fly" that goes around. I would suggest one of the Junker, Pirate, or Mercenary IDs for the character. Mercenaries are no longer banned in Rheinland, so you have free reign there, and can just RP everywhere without anyone KoSing you. They'll be distrustful, but then again, who should be trusting a crazy person?

Have a read of the 'Blackheart' story in my signature. very similar to your initial idea.

He only flys an eagle, and has a terrorist ID out of necessity.
