Tridente - Outcast Heavy Gunship - Penumbra - 09-14-2012
Is the "Tridente - Outcast Heavy Gunship" considered a Borderworlds ship, or an Outcast ship? That is, if I had this ship, if it was considered a Borderworlds ship, would it be safe for me to go through any system, or?

Are the Borderworlds considered civilians as well. That is, they can go anywhere without being attacked?

As for borderworlds ships being able to "go amywhere", afaik they're not illegal anywhere, though someone with better knowledge of the laws in Sirius may be able to correct me.

Border World ships can be considered as an alternative to Civilian ships. Most factions get one or the other at 100% core, you can check the nerf chart for your intended ID.

But for example the sabre is a borderworld ship what is used by both lawful and unlawful sided players.

A good trick to know the difference, is to check the ship section in the wiki, it says the ship's owner.

Well, just to point out, even though it's probably been said already.
When you look at the ships the Outcasts use, you'll notice that some of them have the term "Borderworlds" in the name, this means that they're not unique to the Outcasts.
However, the Falcata Bomber and all the caps, have the word "Outcast" in the name.
So...that kind of illustrates the difference right there, just for reference.

The Tridente is an Outcast ship, and the tech plugin recognizes it as such. It is NOT part of the Borderworlds line.
Come 4.87, the Outcasts will have a full snubline of their own. The Falcata will be a part of that line to emphasise that it is an Outcast specfic ship.
