what are the 4 houses stance on nomads?
like which one would more and less likely allow an independent scientist study nomads?
what would be the punishment if caught?
what would said house do if the scientist was suspected of being infested with nomads?
all of these questions are just so i can get a story together for my new character.

I would think that it's allowed in Liberty and Bretonia as long as you've got a license to transport them..
that said, I suspect that you'd be shot rather quickly in Rheinland.

If there is a threat of nomad infestation, you will most likely be killed.
You could RP a nomad researcher, just don't come flying around power tripping as you go.
You'd need the lisence for Bretonia and Liberty if you intended flying in that space, otherwise it's really as if you are carrying death-penalty contraband.

ok, thats what i thought.
and i dont plan on pvping much at all, this is mainly an RP character, if you look at this thread and the the story i posted for my character in the bio section(timothy flux), that should give a general idea of my intentions. :)

hm.
I command the ONRP (Order Nomad Research Vessel) mobile research facility for the Order. It's pretty cool because on the Bs| forums we RP Nomad research and post our finds. And the cargo on that ship is all Noma brains of all sizes, nomads, alot of bounty hunters and a nomad power cell.
But I guess it all depends on how much you want to risk, for example, will your character want ti work underground?
By the way, I don't think you can get alot of research done in a house anyways, where are you going to get the nomads from and normal people are far from sufficiently supplied to do Nomad research.

Makes it all pretty much limited. Richard's (Monk) comm. project was open and that was made it interesting allowing us both to contribute to it via in-game roleplay.
