Biograph Richard Cole

After i joined the Temporary Autonomous Zoners some good things has happened to me. I think i was blessed by Eris somehow. As many things did happen in the past. Like the construction of the Freeport XXI at the kyushu gate. It went well for a long time. Then suddenly it was destroyed. So the vicious circle of Creation, order, disorder and at last the destruction was complete. When it was destroyed. I had to live with my wife (Moniek Cole) who was just pregnant at that time in our ship Tre-Del-Fida. It is a big ship, but it didn't have enough space for all our cargo and all the needed goods for a normal life as a home.

5 weeks went by... And when i was making a scouting trip to check the security in baffin. I found a strange looking wreck. on the following location:

a big part of it was flying in space and i didn't know what it was. So i went fast home and told Moniek about it. After our talk i took the Repair ship and went to its location. Starting the repairs and see what will follow out of it. As it was heavy destroyed i was for sure that this was some sort of Gift from Eris. I only did not know what it was meant for. As the parts where everywhere. 1 thing i knew for sure that it would cost a lot of time to repair. So i started repairing it. And hold my comms open to make sure Moniek was safe. As the defense systems where online and i know she can fly too. But didn't want to risk anything. After 5 weeks of almost 18 hours work each day i had it mostly together. The engines and the front where done. There was a big arm. but didn't knew what it was for. I thought it was for attachment for safe docking to stations. So the ship would not move or at least not much while docked. But as for the middle of this ship it was empty. where some big bars holding it together and didn't figure out at first what it was for. After another 3 weeks i had finisht the the ship. But still in the mid section? I had no clue what was there. It flew like a charm. when i started it. But had no clue what to do with it. I added some defence turrets on the ship. So i could enable the security to shoot anything who wants to enter it or wich fires on the ship. I went back to my repair ship and headed towards Pueblo Bonito. Maybe my fellow Temporary Autonomous Zoners (TAZ) could help me out with this. In the meanwhile I had contacted my head of security Eric Stone if he could have a look at the ship. As he is also a very technical guy, he might know the solution to my problem.

Well after Eric Stone came. We had a long talk.. But as he was pointing me out that Moniek and I can't raise a child on a ship like this. As children need some playground too. So he suggested to develop some windows on it as well as some rooms and chambers. Asked him for making a gym too and making it kind of a flying Home. Something we could need at this time. And maybe some storage as well. After 3 weeks he came back with some spectacular designs. Wich i can't attach in this. As if they came public they might discover a weak point in it. This is something wich may never happen! The big window was sadly not there as it would be a very big security issue as it would be the obvious weakest point of the ship when the shields where down.

As time was running out, I asked in Pueblo Bonito some fellow TAZ to help me out. Finish the new home as soon as possible. As the baby won't wait to come! Less then 6 months and it was allready showing at the belly of Moniek. I asked some Samurians to deliver some ship hull panels to our Shasta Orbital Skyhook as the design really needed A LOT of them! Was over 300k of panels needed. (roughly estimated) I also contacted some Freelancers and some fellow Zoners to supply Shasta Orbital Skyhook with food/oxygen/water and other needed materials. As it was a secret project, we had to construct it at a hidden spot. So we used some big repair ships and for the harder parts to construct in space we used Pueblo Bonito. As scientists there are very well educated and smart there. Bringing the parts and the materials ourselves to the secret construction spot we had to be sure that the system was clear. So we had to patroll and make sure the entrances where taken care of and no one was in our home system. And we would travel safe. Also the construction site would become unnoticed and the construction could continue.

After 5 months it was all finisht. The ship was amazing. and it would serve as a new home for Richard and Moniek Cole and their future child...

Now Moniek started the interior design. And some more working time was there for Richard as the end of all his hard work was still not in sight...

As Moniek tried to make the rooms as she wanted.. The only thing Richard could do was to obey her. Only 1 room.. The command room he fully decided. It might not be much, but at least no flowers everywhere! And a pineal amulet on the wall in the command room. This for good luck and a reminder Eris. Wich lead him to the shipwreck.

For the baby room.. Well Eric made some nice designs for it. As its for a boy. Here are some of the designs:

As Moniek disliked the last one.. We decided to make the first with the transport. Wich was from the old days. At least he would know something about the past of our Human race. As from the start you have to give the child education for him to succeed in the future.

For this task he ordered ordered some traders to get some equipment he needed for making the baby room, but also the bar, relaxing room, Movie Theater, arcade room, gym, Medical room, Fitness room, swimming pool and some other small rooms. As when we all are busy on making it. We can better do all at once and relax afterwards. 1 Room Moniek and Richard wanted to dedicate to Eris. So it would be a place to pray and meditate. For this last task they asked Pope Carl Bergmann for his sight on a chamber dedicated to Eris. As he was fond of the idea. He decided to look around to design the room. So he went to outer space searching for unique items for this room. And let Eris guide him to his destinations. Showing him where to go.

The Medical Room was the job of Moniek herself. As she was the doctor. But she needed some help from Simon King. A collegue wich might be very helpfull with the creation of the room. And while she was carrying Richard Cole's child. Simon King may help with the labor later on.

After all the rooms where done, the ship was taken in operation. The Tre-Del-Fida would dock in Baffin at Pueblo Bonito for maintenance. And the new home would be taken to Pueblo Bonito for some test. And if they are good, then it will be taken on active duty..

As the tests went well. The ship status because active. And it could be used as a flying home. This impressive ship would bring much appreciation not only because of its size, but mostly because of its looks and that its a mobile base where people can dock on. Also some of the escort ships where docked on this "flying base".

As Richard and Moniek went to Freeport 6 for a small trip outside of Baffin. They knew the time was comming near for the child to come. So they decided to contact Simon King for helping bringing the child into the world. Or shall i say bring into the universe.

But we where in luck. as the message came in time. And Simon King was nearby Freeport 6 so won't take long for him to come. Also we had informed Commander Matok, his wife Fyre and their medical staff of Freeport 6. So if the labor would came pre-maturely then we might be able to quickly respond.

As Moniek had a tough night. Richard went up very early. He went to the command post and disabled the auto defense system. And scanned and greeted passing vessels. Even tried to make some transfers for earning some credits. While he was in the middle of a transaction, Moniek sent a priority message. The child is comming! Fast he activated the defense system again. Finisht the trade fast and told the system to allow only TAZ to dock on the ship. As well as Freeport 6 crew. And while he rushed towards the Medical room he informed some of the crew to sent an emergency message towards Freeport 6 and Simon King to inform them about the current status.

As Freeport 6 was less then 8k away they arrived in less then 30 minutes. Simon King came after 2 hours. But a live communication was online so he could inform the crew what to do. After he arrived he went to Moniek and Richard. While Richard found it an emotional moment. He was very concearned about the health of his wife and his new (still unborn) son. After 8 hours the child was born. Simon did some tests to check its health and all was good. As Richard saw the child he went into tears. He saw his wife laying on the bed and holding the child in her hands. Then he realised how beautifull life can be. They named their son "Ryan". Simon gratulated Both Moniek and Richard with their son Ryan. Simon undocked from the ship and went back to baffin for some other matters.

Moniek needed to take a good rest and Richard put in Eric Stone for the temporary command of the ship so Richard could take care in the meantime to his new born son.

As Moniek was recovering from the labor. Richard took care of the new born. He made some pictures. And here is one:

As Richard took care for both Moniek and Ryan he was for the first time aware that they now are a family. Wife and son.. maybe some more to come. Something wich Eris took care of. As i wouldn't have met Moniek in the first place without the doing of Eris. Only now Richard fears if something will happen to his beloved ones. He opens a live stream to the command room and talks to Eric stone about possible improvements of security.. and if they are needed. Eric finds it a littlebit over the top. But still more security isn't that bad.

After the additional security they set course to the kyushu gate. and station the ship there for trading and showing the people of Kusari the ways of Eris and bless the passing captains for a safe trip home.

After Moniek recovered she wasnt that fond of the fact that the ship was stationed in front of the Kyushu gate. She began to miss her roots. Also the fact there where passing more and more Pirates from kusari wich makes her concearn more and more especially for Ryan. So she talked to Eric stone.. and later discussed it with Richard. but as they had no real sollution, Richard decided to go to baffin with the Osprey called Constantine.. In the hope they might enlighten their views, maybe even finding a sollution there..

While Richard Cole was flying in the Constantine he looked outside his window. Saw stars, rocks, stations and planets passing by when heading to Pueblo Bonito. He realised that the answer might been right on his face.

As he put on the auto pilot on the docking sequence he noticed trough the windows of Pueblo some formiliar faces allready. He remembered some old discussions and events from the past. Also some party... and he started to smile.

After the ship was docked he asked an engineer to do a fully maintenance on it. As it was been used for some heavy fights, some hull damage has to be taken care of. Then he went straight to the bar. He went straight to the barkeep and ordered a beer. It was a long while ago he could drink one.. As Moniek dislikes him doing that. While he was lurking from his beer he start walking to the other side of the bar, where a man is waving at Richard...

Richard greets him and is going to sit down on the chair next to him. He does not recognise this man yet. But still he starts the conversation and just pretend to know exactly who he is.. But he looks so formiliar.. who is he?

When the man asked how it was with Moniek, Richard remembered the name of him. It was her cousin Jack.

Suddenly the conversation became much easier. Jack tells Richard he had explored the whole omega's and found some blueprints. (this might be the answer!) As Jack wants to come along and see our new member of the familly they decided to rest for tonight at Pueblo Bonito. Take the trip home tomorrow and see what Eric can do with these blueprints.

The morning comes.. the sun is shining on the windows. Richard wakes up and get out of bed.. "Damn that was long night" he thinks. Fast he takes a shower, brushes his teeth and go to the bar. He sees Jack sitting there allready. "Kallisti Jack. Shall we take something to eat? I am starving!!"

Jack looks at Richard and smiles. "Well Kallisti my friend! I have a small headache from yesterday. Maybe too many drinks i guess."

He shows Richard the a part of the blueprints he meantioned yesterday.

Richard hoped for some improvements for his ship. But this might be a good alternative too. "Jack, i think its time to go. It seems the blueprints might be very valuable and we still have to make a trip home."

Jack agrees and put down his glas and goes to his ship along with Richard. And then heading to Eric Stone, Moniek Cole.. and offcourse the small Ryan Cole.

After undocking the Constantine. Richard sees the view.. and decides to make a picture for Moniek. So he goes to a good position and takes the shot.

After that Jack undocked on his ship and they both flew to the home of Moniek, Richard and Ryan Cole.. And offcourse not to forget of Eric stone! When they got there they docked and went aboard. Moniek saw Richard and she gave him a big kiss as she was worried! "Why did it too so long? Was wurried!" Moniek said. After that she saw Jack comming trough the door. She looked surpriced. "So it is your fault! Thank Eris both of you arent hurt. " Jack got a smile on his face. "Well good to see you too. Sorry but we have had a long talk and i might be of some help." Richard looks at Moniek while she is still a littlebit upset, but in the meantime she loves him so much. He knows it and charish it. As its a wonderfull gift true love. "This is true. but we might have found a possible sollution to our problem. Can you call Eric to come over here?" Moniek nods and go to the nearest inner communication device and gives Eric a call to come. "Kallisti Eric, you have some time? Richard is back home and brought an old formiliar face. Please get here as soon as possible." Jack and Richard hears in the distance Eric saying that he is on his way. Moniek head back to Jack and Richard. "Do you guys like to have a drink while we are waiting for Eric?" Both Jack nods. "I would like to have a beer please." Moniek looks at Richard. "Darling what do you want?" "Well I would like to have a Cola. Dont forget to bring for Eric a beer too." Moniek turns around and get the drinks. In the meantime are Eric arrives and looks surprised. "Kallisti all! Damn long time no see Jack. It looks like you are doing quite well"
Jack laughs "Yes indeed Eric, but i heard Moniek was a littlebit worried with the Pirates over here passing by. I have found something on some of my deep exploration trips and it might be helpfull for your problems." Jack hands over the Stations blueprints to Eric Stone. He takes a fast look at it. "This looks promising indeed. As you might have heard our old Freeport XXI was destroyed and i still have its old blueprints. I have to look closer at it if there are any good improvements on these you just gave me. We can even make it more strong then the older one! This can take me some time to investigate. But is this maybe the answer you where looking for Richard? Don't forget what happened last time. What will it make different now? As i am still not sure if it would be a better defense or not." In the meanwhile Moniek came in and listened to the conversation and served the drinks under the noses of the guys. "Well if i may interfere Freeport XXI was a nice home. But as then we where living in front of this gate too. Maybe its just time to look for a better location. More safe and well maybe some nice neighbours?" Richard takes some of his Cola. And just before Jack wanted to say something. "Well Darling, i think its not so bad idea. As now we are flying a very slow ship. And if something happens we don't have so much defenses as even our old station had. I think we have to find out first what kind of improvements there would be. Wich Eric can find on the station blueprints Jack provided us. But for the part of neighbours? Hmm well isn't it possible to head to the other Freeport over here? And see what is going on there? And meet them for example? We can allways see from then what we want to do? As location then. We can even park our current home there at least if the owner of Freeport 6 don't mind then. As it is a big ship. And don't want to have any problems." Eric leans back and thinking a little. Jack responds "Well i was impressed before i docked here. Saw such a big ship. Never seen one like it before. And well what you guys did with the interior just 1 word.. WOW! But why settle down? I know my parents in the older days drove a camper. And i see this ship of yours is mostly the same. You can go where you want. And if you got bored or want to relocate well you just fly there and sort of speak trow your ankers. " Eric leans forward on his chair again. "Well its more a security issue here. As Ryan was born, i noticed Moniek and Richard getting more and more concearned. Even if we have a very good security, our "camper" is very slow. The biggest problem is its size. You can't just fly away and try to escape. That is the point. Sure if you make a station you have the issue it can't just fly away. But the security is way better. If someone wants to attack us we have to undock immediate our ships from the docking bay's. It can sustain much damage indeed. But it is nothing compaired to a good station. Do not forget that. And even if we would make a station we can dock our "camper" to it too. Or maybe go on vacation with it. And leave some Temporary Autonomous Zoners in charge of the station while we are gone for example. These are mere suggestions." Moniek looks around. "Well i am concearned about Ryan yes. And with the Pirates here its not that weird is it? I want also the best for my little Ryan and hope he will grow up to a good man. And just now i am scared we get ambushed for some odd reason. You never know these days! As we have had even pirates in front of our home allready. Both the old Freeport XXI and even few weeks ago." Moniek hears Ryan crying on the babyphone. "Please excuse me everyone. Have to go to Ryan. Richard do you take care of our visitors? After putting Ryan to sleep i am going to sleep too. " Moniek gives Richard a kiss goodnight "I will Darling, I shall take care of our visitors. See you in bed" Richard gets a smile on his face and Moniek a small blush on her face. and goes to Ryan. "Well then, lets continue. This region is indeed crowded with many Pirates. Lucky they don't attack us much. But when we have to react fast indeed. I think before we can judge more on the next move we make. We have to give Eric some time to investigate the blueprints. Jack if you want you can go with me to patrol on some sectors over here tomorrow. We could also check out the Freeport 6 then. And contact the owner of it. Btw Jack if you want i can give you a bed on the E-Bay. " Jack looks weird at Richard, Eric and Richard starts to laugh. " No not selling you. just kidding it is "LeveL - E"
Jack gets a smile too "Would be very nice indeed. Thank you. I would like to join you tomorrow Richard, but i hoped it could help Eric with the Station blueprints. At least if he doesn't mind. Eric looks at Jack.... "Hell NO.. *Grin*.. Hehe i don't mind. Would be fun to work together again after that long time. And we can maybe catch up memories from the old days." Richard nods.. "So that is settled. Shall we rest this conversation and enjoy the rest of the evening? Maybe even drink some more and have some fun?" Eric and Jack both nods and look to each other.. "LETS PARTY!!" Richard and Jack are heading to the bar. "Guys im going to keep the Station blueprints safe. Will meet you in the bar in a few." Eric is taking the Station blueprints to his chamber and store it in his Safe. "Now the party can really start" he thinks in himself. And he heads to the bar.

After waking up. Richard notice Moniek is not next to him.. He has a small headache. And he thinks to himself. "Was a long night, but so much fun!" He looks around and was thinking about the conversation the day before. "Would Eric and Jack find something on those blueprints? And if, would we have the equipment and technology to create it? And the people? how many would we need for it?" All these things go to Richard's minds.. But he decides to get out of bed. And see what the day will bring.

He takes on his clothes and in the meantime he smells the scent of some baguettes. "Guess Moniek is baking some for me. Curious what she is thinking of the conversation yesterday." and head for breakfast in their private quarters.

When entering the room he sees his wife Moniek and take a look at the table.

Richard goes to Moniek and gives her a kiss "Darling you should not have done that." Moniek smiles a little. "Well i love you and we have a big day. And after all that party yesterday i think you might need some good breakfast. As my father and mother are comming today. Hope you did not forget?" Richard looks surpriced "Sorry thats what i forgot. I knew i forgot something! But we have enough in our home for them to eat and drink? Or want me to get some from the store?" Moniek laughs a little "I got everything yesterday allready. Thought you would forget it as you where so occupied." Richard gives Moniek a hug "You know me too well!" Richard is going to sit at the table and waiting for Moniek to finish the last touch. And then they are starting to eat.

After the dinner, Moniek took the plate of Richard. "Well lets start to clean up. We have a big day. Are you heading to Eric and Jack?" when Moniek turned away Richard started to help Moniek cleaning the table. "Well i might go to Eric and Jack, but i think i can better let them be for now. As they have much catching up to do. They know each other from way back and your parents are comming. So might be wise if we take it easy today." "You might be right Darling, we can allways decide to change our plans. Btw my mom and dad might stay for a few days. Told them it would be no problem as we have Rooms enough on this ship." "No it surely is not a problem. The engineers are currently trying to make the last 2 docking bays. So we could have more visitors. And even ships of our own and our friends parked inside." "Good to hear, but i hope you still take care. You know we have Ryan and i don't like it to see so many strangers around. So watch it. Don't want the same as wich happened to our old home" "I know. Ryan, but also you my darling are very important" Richard hugs Moniek and looks her in the eyes. "We are a family You are my wife, our son who is still a small baby and maybe someday might accomplisch something amazing. It means everything for me!" Moniek gets tears in her eyes and holds Richard firmly. "I know, but still i am scared." Richard uses his right hand and runs his hand trough her hair and touches softly her face. "Do not worry, we let no one in who we don't know. I promise. Safety first" Moniek dries her tears "I Love you" "I Love you too." They give each other a big kiss. "Am going to see where mom and dad are. they could be close by now." "Ok i am heading towards the Docking bay and see how they are progressing with it." Moniek heads to the other room and try to contact her parents. Richard look at her leaving the room and thinks "What a hell of a women i have. I am such a lucky guy." and he heads towards the construction of the last 2 docking bays.

Richard enters the big hall and walks slowly towards the docking bays.

He looks trough the window and he does see a spaceship. Its still far away. He mumbles a little in himself "Well that must be Moniek her parents." and he heads towards the entrance of the docking bays. Door opens and he walks inside and takes a look around. Richard thinks to himself "All seem to go very well. It seems the Engineers on Pueblo are doing a magnificent job. Maybe i might to hire a new head of Engineering. Can't ask Eric to do it too. It would be too much.. Have to think that over some other time." Richard walks to the other docking bay. Where the ship just landed.

Richard notice by the vessel its the parents of Moniek and thinks. "I am Still curious how her father did have such a vessel. It seemed they have had it in their family for generations if i have to believe Moniek then. Its like some family legacy. Really have to ask him someday.. Maybe this might be a good opportunity" and he heads towards the ship.
