Honorable men and woman of business.
Recently the Corsair empire has been suffering a steep decline of incoming trade.
It worries the great Presidente that Crete's food stockpiles are shrinking,
and that some of the Corsair people have to result in eating low quality food like fried rope and sand.
Naturally the Corsair Brotherhood aims to satisfy the civillian population and places the well being of the poor above it's own.
Therefore in order to attract more trade, el Presidente has asked me to discuss a review of our trade pacts,
raising your profits and offering great business potential.
I am eager to hear your stance on this.

That indeed sounds like a humanitarian crisis, to say the least. Civilians starving is something no one wants to see, except for possibly some sort of evil terrorist group like the Blood Dragons.

Over at Baffin, the TAZ understand some of yer problems with supplies and we'll be pleased to give you you a dig out where we can.... Ma personal Whale has just been refitted after a rivet loosening tour of some of the rougher areas of the Taus, so I'd be please to bring a full load over Crete as part of the re-commisioning.
Rest assured, I'll stir up Eris for ya and tip a nod to the other robes too.
