I enjoy the whole process of starting a character up from scratch, the mining part is fun, dodging xenos to get a hold full of copper in a rhino.

I usually go mining when i start a new char. So i can avoid getting a tag until I want to.
It takes time. But saves a lot more when you are rep fixing.

I mine when I'm starting up a new character. Dodging xenos and rogues makes it fun. At any other time, I avoid it. Too much work for too little reward.
