The Sutherland as you surely know isn’t ready of active duty just yet since we’re still in the process of finding a suitable Captain for this Ship. We’ve checked multiple candidates over the last few days and we’ve found a Man that could be up for the place. I’m uploading the Files as we speak Sir. Uploading Data: Name: Alex Bradley Birthplace: Planet Cambridge Age: Born 763 AS 27/01 Schools absolved: Primary School on Cambridge, proceeded to Flight School after that. After Graduation his Family paid for further schooling for heavier Class Space Ships. Simulator hours: Approximately 400 Hours Hours spent in Flight craft: Roughly 100 Hours Biography: Access denied. Please contact a higher ranking Member of the Armed Forces for clearance. Upload Complete It might seem odd that I’m recommending him as Captain for the Sutherland since he literally didn’t have any active duty as of yet. His good piloting skills have left an impression on me and he would fit into the Crew we already have. Either way the decision is yours to make. I hope to hear from you soon. Officer of the Sutherland, Dunkirk class Battleship. It’s the 17th of December 789 First Inscription in the Logbook of the Sutherland. It’s been a busy few weeks since the completion of the Sutherland. We’ve been doing checks of the systems day and night to see if something is still amiss in the Engines or other places, you never know with newly built ship. Although the Crew isn’t complete yet it won’t take long, I’m sure of that. All that is missing is the Standard Marine Corp, which is a minimum of 100 Marines per Ship of this Class, and the Captain that is the most important part of every ship. But either way it’ll take at least another 6 months until we’re ready to make our first Patrol with it. Log ends File ends…

His Parents never really cared about their Son since financial trouble was the bigger concern for them most of the time. At the age of 17 he was put into Newgate after being caught stealing and murdering the victim in the process. He was given a decision of serving Queen and House in the Armed Forces or to rot in the Prison cells of Newgate. He made the smart decision and was put into the 140th Leeds Marine Platoon which is a Platoon solemnly tasked with Boarding enemy Ships. Most of those manoeuvres ended with the planting of explosives in the engines room and the Bridge. The 140th is stationed on the HMS Sutherland as a Safety guard right now. File ends…

Things are getting out of hand so it seems, we’ve been given command to move to the Border in Omega 3 from the Fleet admiral himself. We didn’t have much trouble to protect our border, one or two smugglers here and there but nothing serious. After some time we got reports that there where Rheinlander Snubs in Leeds attacking Stokes. Surprised at how they managed to get around our Patrol units and then even into Leeds the Admiral ordered us to stay at the Border and double the Patrols. At the same time he had dispatched a fighter wing back to Leeds to take care of the intruders. The Sutherland didn’t see much action since most of the things we encountered where Snub sized; the Rheinlander’s didn’t seem to bother to send in their heavier craft, no doubt fearful of losing their precious Fleet for nothing. We’ve been going over the routine checks in Southampton Shipyard when we had a transmission coming from Name redacted to make our way to location Classified. It seems like the Engineers have built yet another prototype of those Cloak engines the Battleships of the Rheinlander’s used at around 801 A.S. while they were trying to enlarge their House, which failed of course. With the permission of the Admiralty the Sutherland is now being equipped with such a device as I’m writing this log. I’m just hoping that it’ll work when there is no other way left open but retreat. It was just after that mess with the Harbinger, you know the Flagship of Admiral Davis. *sighs* Anyhow we were part of the rear guard making our way back to Leeds while the Engineers carried the remains of the Harbinger back to the Dry-docks of Southampton. We heard that the Harbinger was taken apart by a Jelly while nobody was around so the Captain was keeping everything on high alert until the Sutherland was back in New London Space. And just as we were about to jump back to Dublin it hit us, must have been that jelly that the Harbinger encountered I’m sure of it. It just uncloaked right in front of our nose. The engagement was short and brutal, Captain Bradley ordered to open fire with everything that could harm such a big thing while seeing to it that the other parts of the Rear guard where informed of the threat that just appeared a few clicks from the Sutherland. The Bridge shook, that Jelly made a perfect hit on our Bridge, luckily the shields held that first salvo. But that wasn’t much help to us; the second salvo was already on its way to finish the job. The Sutherland wasn’t the newest Ship on duty and such the alloys used to build the reinforced structure weren’t as good as with other ships of its class. Bradley, fearing that a direct hit from those weird Jelly cannons could take out the whole Bridge, ordered the people to evacuate to the secondary one, deeper in the belly of the Sutherland. It all went pretty fast *sighs again* I was one of the first out, and just as I was through the blast door the whole ship shuddered and there was a loud bang as the Bridge dissolved under the impact. Most of the Crew on the bridge including the Captain where either torn to pieces or died in the cold Vacuum of Space. The Blast doors through which I just ran slammed down to contain the hull breach. We’re sure that you have already read through the Archive Files the Armed Forces has sent you and know that the Captain of the Sutherland died due to a misfortunate error in the construction of the bridge. As of right now the final repairs are finished and with that the ship has also been outfitted with the newest armour that we have. The Bridge has been reconstructed as well and been reinforced at the same time. We’re scarcely short on Capital Ship as of right now, and the war isn’t helping really with that, and in the same instance we neither have many qualified Captains of such massive ships. Thus we are giving you, Captain Havering, overall command of the HMS Sutherland, First officer is Aston Taylor he’ll show you the knacks the Sutherland has. May the Queen be with you. File closed
