Greetings Liberty Authorities
I am Oystein Baadsvik, Head of Security at Platinum Incorporated. As I’m sure your aware we are running Platinum ore mining operations from our base in the Alberta system. After a combination of factors we have decided that we wish develop our operations to include Jump Trading our ore to Bretonia space. To do that we will need access to a Carrier class vessel with a Jump Drive Series IV. One of our former trusted customers, a zoner by the name of Deanna Troi now captains a Zoner ‘Aquilon’ Carrier class vessel christened Imzadi. She has offered to Jump our ships from Alberta to Bretonia space.
However we first need permission from you for the green light for her to enter Liberty. The Carrier will Jump directly into Alberta not far from our base where we can record it’s flight path and where it’ll pose no threat in terms of disruption to any traffic. From there it’ll take our ships to Bretonia via it’s Jump Drives and then return with our ships. After each Trade operation the carrier will leave Liberty Space and return to Zoner space once again via jumping. In this manner the only part of Liberty the ship will enter will be the small area of space around our base in the far reaches of the Alberta System.
If we get permission from you then our next immediate step will be to contact the Bretonian Government for permission for us to enter their borders alongside the Imzadi. If that was declined then we'd inform you of this as we'd no longer have need of the Carriers services. And so we'd inform Captain Troi that she's not to enter Alberta.
If you still have any concerns we will be happy to address them. Some of our proposed precautions we can take if you wish include but are not Limited to:
-We’ve agreed with the captain that if necessary we can completely disarm the Carrier and remove additional armour upgrades. That way the ship is effectively no longer a warship and can only fulfil the purpose which we have agreed upon.
-At your request should we be required to send advance warning of our arrival we will do so. And are happy for the Carrier to remain under Liberty Authority escourt throughout it’s duration within your house space.
-If any sort of additional trade taxes are required then I’m sure our accountants will have no problems in sorting that out with your treasury.
-At your request the Carrier will only transport Platinum Incorporated craft with it. No independent traders or traders of other factions will have permission to accompany us on our trade missions.
If any of the above conditions you feel should be included in an agreement with us we’re happy to put those measures in place, along with anything else you deem necessary. Should we be granted access, I personally will be onboard the Imzadi and will reside in the command bridge along with the Captain to ensure that all terms of the agreement and Liberty law are upheld.
I hope this can be the start of a new era of commerce within this area of Liberty. It’ll bring great prosperity not only ourselves but to the entire Alberta economy and so both the Houses of Liberty and Bretonia. Please give this all necessary thought and we eagerly await your response.

Platinum Inc. has posed no issues for us in the past and is generally a well liked and trusted division of DSE. This request can be granted, but only on the following conditions.
- The jump vessel is unarmed.
- Each jump or series of jumps into Liberty space is recorded and documented in some way.
- The Liberty authorities may request at any time to be granted access to these records.
- Only vessels operating under DSE)/Plantinum Inc. colors, and your designated jump vessel, may utilise this jump authorisation.
- A one-off payment of 50,000,000 (fifty million) sirius credits is made to Ferris.Dufresne to cover administration costs associated with this request.
