75th Mosquito Squadron, Feedback :) - Hidamari - 10-29-2012 ![]() This is a faction feedback thread for the Maltese 75th, Light assault squadron, tagged [75th] We do not yet have an information page but are working on it, the faction has been around for a while, but was only myself and my two brothers that flew it. As of monday the 22nd oct 2012, ive made it a public thing and have invited people to join. feel free to give us your comments ![]() RE: 75th Mosquito Squadron, Feedback :) - AeternusDoleo - 10-29-2012 I hear these gnats are giving the IMG bombers a bit of a headache in the Tau Brawls. Not flown against you personally yet - devving and other more important matters kinda eating up time... RE: 75th Mosquito Squadron, Feedback :) - VerbalArtist - 10-30-2012 U might find scouting to be a bit boring in the future, but kudos to u all if it works out! PS: hurry up with the lore, i want to read it RE: 75th Mosquito Squadron, Feedback :) - Wolfs Ghost - 10-30-2012 Out of the few small times I've encountered your folks, Dii, all I can say it's good seeing Outcasts ditching whatever it was they're doing and disappearing at the sight of military personnel. Chasing you into Tohoku on my KNF was bloody annoying. Keep up the good work, and I'm looking for further interaction between my characters and the 75th as a whole. EDIT: I also love the image / comm bars. RE: 75th Mosquito Squadron, Feedback :) - Soul Reaper - 10-30-2012 Seen you guys ingame. Seems like an active bunch and sticks true to the Scimitar only thing. And you're obviously not silent people too. Have met you guys on my [LN] Guardian, only thing I have to say would be about your pilot's skills...as in, you fly light fighters, don't joust VHFs. Other than that it seems cool, looking forward to seeing some kind of history written down, I enjoy reading such stuff. PS: hurry up with the lore, i want to read itScouting is never boring, we role play in and out of group chat at all times when in game (otherwise not only scouting but the entire game and everything in it becomes unfathomably boring!), it has been nothing but a blast so far, we got lost in the high omicrons today after leaving Kusari and ended up in omicron 92 for absolutely ages, only by chance finding a jump hole, which lead to omicron 100, after getting ganked by 3000 npcs and making it out alive we were still drifting around until we somehow made it back to new York via Alaska... And (i cant believe im saying this) but I cant wait to go to gallia with the squad and check it out with some decent RP for once, rather than, *select 100k away jump hole, 'go to', minimise game* for cryocube runs. ![]() (10-30-2012, 03:35 AM)Wolfs Ghost Wrote: Out of the few small times I've encountered your folks, Dii, all I can say it's good seeing Outcasts ditching whatever it was they're doing and disappearing at the sight of military personnel. D: I was very sad panda.. he said it was for new age medicine.. ![]() ![]() ![]() And yes, the com bars and logo are very nice indeed, Kudos to Redon for that ![]() (10-30-2012, 03:37 AM)Soul Reaper Wrote: Seen you guys ingame. Still, I get what you mean but can only say this "you can lead a horse to water but cant make it drink", ![]() ![]() As with the waiting for lore, it may take a while and if anyone has any ideas to spur my mind on that would be great. its one thing to create something but its another to make it sit properly inside an existing established frame of RP. thanks for your comments. RE: 75th Mosquito Squadron, Feedback :) - Ander_K - 10-30-2012 Creating LF squad is a good idea for sure. Can you tell me 75th Mosquito Squadron is a closed faction, or it is/will be recruiting, cause I've got a Scimitar and like to fly it. Buena suerte, Los mosquitos! RE: 75th Mosquito Squadron, Feedback :) - Altejago - 10-30-2012 So far, you guys have been pro and cool in Liberty. Well done on a neat little faction and I look forward to flying with you as the Rogues! Mind if we sent out our LF and SLF groups with you? PVP skill is not a requirement but the want and will to role play is, I also pay for peoples ships and set ups personally if they dont have a ship so its free to join also. We are always glad to have people to fly with, the only problems i can forsee with mixed forces are the following. I do worry about how the 75th's actions of 'take and run', will impact on our standing with the 'stay and fight' pirate community, which seems to be just about everyone else in the game. The second is chain of command, who will lead what and when if our forces are mixed up? will the point above be mixed also.. as in, for example lets say we have 4 75th, and 4 rogues split into 2 OC 2 LR squads, who has command? normally we would think it obvious that the LR has command since this is their space, but if their needs are 'stay and fight' it will start friction and things like that.. how should we go about things like this? Good questions, and valid ones at that. The reason I enquired about our own light fighter wing, is that we have what we affectionately call the 'Bloodhound Gang' whom are well, in Bloodhounds, for the sole purpose of roleplay and a challenge for our members who like alternative gameplay. You'll find those players aren't the 'stay and fight' type, but more "we'll tease you from the side lines just outta reach!" As for chain of command, I would foresee it to be more a co-operation and a general equilibrium of respect amongst our pilots. We will dignify 75th with more honors than your typical Outcast group for the shear fact you guys are here for player fun, as little player annoyance as possible and as far as I am aware, your players are all above board and a blast to fly with. If there came a need for orders, we'd expect the Rogue laws were abided by, but the scoundrel with the best idea rules the lay of the lore. If interests conflict, well we're all gentlemen here and I am sure we can leave each other to our devices. So long we aren't working against each others end goals, we'll be all good. |
