A note to the [M]ollys - Sabre Command Centre - 10-31-2012 ![]() To whom it may concern
Dublin. Dublin has always been a lovely subject of debate between our people, and has been fought over since the founders day revolt, where the Mollys became who they are today. An impressive feat... considering the thorn in the backside your people have been for our forces. But it doesn't end there, does it? No... we both have something in common, and we both know what that common threat is. After all... they nuked your home world. Now, I know your people are smart, and can figure out what group I'm speaking of, if you haven't guessed it already. The Corsairs, they're quite a thorn in our rears as much as they are yours. The only way we can actually see this Corsair influence ended is... with this proposition I have. Before I propose, however, you must know that we operate rather distinctly from the rest of the Bretonian Armed Forces, and that everything else is on the backburner so-to-speak when it comes to the two large invasions we're dealing. You can put two-and-two together. You can call us, Sabres. Simply put, we'd like to work together. The Sabres, and the Molly Republic. You might be thinking, what's the catch? It's quite obvious really... our two groups need a cease fire agreement, the twist? You're only getting a cease fire with the Sabres. Not the entire Armed Forces. Essentially, no Molly ship fires on a Sabre, and no Sabre fires upon a Molly. My pilots will be clearly marked for your men to notice us; BAF|Sabre-#. Before you get anything in mind. I want to work together against a common enemy, that happens to be the Corsairs. We're not asking - or demanding - you to give up Dublin. We're not asking you to open fire on Gallic ships. I'm sure... something can be worked out, no? - With love, A Friend RE: A note to the Molly Republic - Eichann Rush - 10-31-2012 ![]() The sheer number of peace offers, non-aggression pacts, armistices, ceasefires......... offered by the Bretonian government. But oh, Silly Moolys, ne'er will WE stop shootin' ye! Ne'er will we leave ye alone in Dooblin tae yer own peace! Ne'er will we remove the Essex, and ne'er will we stoop our endless war o aggression to wipe out every last stinkin' scum frem the face of Dooblin! I'd tell ye where you can stick yer offer, mate, but ai doubt ye could foind it wit' both hands. I broke the last treaty, took it and smashed it upon the rocks of Dublin into a thousand pieces. I am the Herald of the Broken Word, and I intend to ensure it remains broken. |
