because devs don't know what to do with kusari I guess

Not change in what respect? I hear there are base changes, after all.

uh well.. thats not really what i meant.

the entire of Kusari has changed, apart from the blood dragons and the GC.

Kusari dont even have much of a navy anymore, why have the BD been made to stagnate at such an important time?

talk of bases and systems are not really important.

They're working with the Order more, maybe they are suffering losses in Tohoku? Does their base there even have rumors and such?

Maybe the new base can add some lore about the current situation with the Dragons?

well to be truthful, i have never been a blood dragon, but ive always been interested in joining.

but what doesnt interest me is a faction that seems to be left to die by the devs. for countless versions of the mod, I'd probably have made one this version if it had changed at all since SP.

what is the hold up with this?

Some factions are a lot easier to put on the back burner than others in regards to development. .87 is supposed to be an answer to this, and Friday has been doing a good job of involving even the most underdeveloped/noticed factions.

Look at Cryer, Synth Foods, OS&C, Gateway. They all share this problem.

Not sure, though I'd also think the Dragons would be one of the least likely unlawful groups to change. For instance, the LWB have nearly doubled in age between vanilla and disco, so a lot can happen. But the Dragons are old and well established enough that there may not be much to change.

Or it was just easy to overlook some like my non-hard food friend said.

What should be done with them then? Frankly, with the collapse of the Samura backed imperial government, a lot of what that faction sought to accomplish has been reached. Going lawful with them would be a misstake - the Mollies tried that and it basically eliminated their faction from player interest. I've provided the BD/GC with some additional options by setting up a few bases for them here and there (Honshu, Shikoku) but frankly, I think the usefulness of the BD as a faction is coming to an end.

This topic has nothing more then a "do something with them" note in it. Please specify what that "something" should be.

Shift the focus of the Blood Dragons from fighting to overthrow the government to fighting to prevent Gallia from pulling the strings. This isn't rocket science. They love Kusari, they don't want to see it run by Gallia. Toss an alliance with the Maquis in there while you're at it, would work nicely.
