Some higher-tier ISP is experiencing troubles and I can't join few foreign IP adresses. Unfortunately, server (not website) is in that list.

No idea when they'll fix that, so I'd be happy if anyone knows reliable non-anonymous free proxy server, through which you can also play games (with proper software, I'm trying to use Proxifier.)

Another question is - server IP is 78.46.88.87 , and I should try to connect through port 2302 ?

Nevermind, they finally fixed it... should've wrote this help request 5 hours earlier, when I really needed it =\

What you're really looking for is a Virtual Private Network (VPN) service, not a proxy - they are normally only for HTTP traffic, though I don't know much about Proxifier. It seems to only support TCP traffic from what I can see on their "Features" page, which won't help you much when most games - including Freelancer - use UDP packets to transmit data between the server and the game client.

I don't know much about good free VPN services, though. The last VPN service I used was BTGuard, which wasn't free, but it did seem to work quite alright for FL the few times I accidentally connected to the server via VPN. Don't expect to be doing much PVP no matter which VPN service you choose, though. They do add a fair bit of latency to your connection no matter how close you are to their servers.

A quick Google search or two should help you find a free service that you can try out.

As for your second question: You shouldn't need to specify a port when you're trying to connect to the server. It uses the default port (which is 2302 anyhow).

Right. Sorry, I didn't refresh the thread before I posted. Good to hear that it's working again now - connecting through VPN really wouldn't have worked very well for FL, if at all.
