Because characters get corrupted past that point. It's a hardcoded limit within the game structure.

The strategy is to go "10 mil or dai" ...alternatively - "do you want to adopt me?"
Then again player level is possibly nice to get a first guess on what ship is out and about, if there weren't folks who store a bilion on their "everday subbie"

I agree for remove lvls coz for them u dont get noting if u are lvl 50 or 90. Only pirates see how much they can ask you money
