The notorious and deadly Molly commander known as "Cpt Hone", (rank self awarded) was captured earlier, by a BAF force consisting of at least seven ships, including capital support! The Molly, who was caught pirating and destroying ore transports in the Cambridge system, was wanted for multiple counts of murder, terrorism, piracy, destruction of property, theft, assault, assault with a deadly weapon, assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, grievous bodily harm, assault ON the greviously bodily harmed ....................................................................................................................................................................................................................................resisting arrest, mass murder, and public indecency At the time of his arrest, he was pirating 3 ore transports near the Omega 3 gate, Cpt Hone had already destroyed one, robbed a 2nd, and tried to take the 3rd hostage, to dissuade BAF forces. http://i50.tinypic.com/9gak34.jpgtake The BAF were not dissuaded, and attacked regardless of the hostages' safety: http://i45.tinypic.com/2a7sr6a.jpg Though some may accuse the BAF of rash and cavalier attitudes, they succeeded in subduing the dangerous molly just seconds before the hostage was executed: http://i48.tinypic.com/2e4b3ib.jpg Cpt Hone is now languishing in Newgate, without Bail, awaiting trial, the total value of property he stole and destroyed in that arrest alone is calculated to be about 50 million credits! No BAF have as yet been available for interview. Always a chaotic organisation, Cpt Hone was something of a wild card, even amongst other Mollys, in the days of the armistace, he was a strong proponent of a Bretonia-Molly alliance, often being seen working with BAF against Kusarians and corsairs, and even received an official apology from the BAF, after complaining about BAF attacks on his ships: http://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=46411 A vocal molly, aware of the publicity mollys had to have if they were to win support, and their goal; Cpt Hone would often make his own personal "press releases" consisting of propoganda, or in some cases just light hearted attention seeking, such as this message for the queen: http://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=70812 However as the armistace failed, and relations soured, his attacks on Bretonia became more frequent: Especially targeting expensive capitol ships, he destroyed, or assisted in the destruction of, numerous dunkirk class battleships, and smaller craft. In other News today, the Grand Opening of Port Talbot was delayed earlier, when forces consisting of a coalition of corsair Brotherhood: Beintez: And independent snubs: allied with Gaians: And Reavers: To attack the Bretonian opening committee, forcing the QCG liner carrying the committee to perform an emergency dock on planet leeds, while BAF and BPA forces fought off the would-be assassins: All attackers were reported destroyed, except for the lone TBH Titan, which managed to use the Leeds smog cloud, as cover to escape through a jump hole. The Opening committee is unhurt, praising the work of the BAF and BPA security forces, and a replacement opening ceremony is expected to be held tomorrow. The opening of port Talbot is hoped to herald a new start for the millions of refugees that have fled Planet Leeds in the Face of the Gallic war machine, and a chance for those who had their hearts set on Harris, to hold a more realistic goal, that isn't surrounded by their enemy!
