Uns fiddles with models and such - Unseelie - 12-07-2012 So boy-o came to me and was like "hey, can you build regional station components?" Well, sure. Sure. So I jumped into wings 3d and futzed around a bit afore bed. You know, hammering out an idea. Working with the standard outpost/depot model. (you know, ainu, the borderstations, the basically everywhere station...smallest base you can have and be considered a real faction base. Whelp, the idea I had was to build out the docking cylander/cone thing, and then for each great house, toss out a culture based design. Here's the first..half..of my first mockup. Why only half? Because I needed to test out this display method. you know, for the kigggles and such. Anyway, Kusari borderstation: bunch of mini biodomes, gardens and such, and anntennae off the bottom. Unmade, as yet, are the first iteration of the howling hive of little pagoda-temple-buildings that'll have to be piled atop all of this. The concept? A town surrounded by gardens, A LA the Himeji Castle. Nyhooo... Check it out, comment, tell me how bad it is. I'mma go build some pagoda models. http://p3d.in/FgOMQ |
