[Semi-Fixed] Bug - Lost items - Larz - 12-16-2012
I don't know if any admin changed anything, but[/code] i now can, and have, bought my equipment back. If it is possible to have my money given back it would be appreciated, otherwise this thread is done.
While i was flying, i noticed i didn't have a shield. Consulting the equipment menu showed that i had lost the shield as well as two turrets.
I had been in a fight with a pirate, so at first i thought it was a new implementation, so that you get "punished" for dying. But when i went to the shop it showed the spot was empty, but ALSO said i had no hardware points to mount the new equipment on. Needless to say i couldn't buy the shield and turrets.
At this stage i believe the equipment pieces where blowed off during the fight and never re-spawned /repaired when i re-spawned in the base.
On a side note, i also just realised i lost all but roughly 900 (not down to zero interestingly enough) of cash. I don't know if its linked to the other bug. but i believe i had around 20mil in there. Anyway isn't not as important as the bugged ship, but i would like to get that back too if possible.
I would dearly like to have it fixed.

Shield lost : Adv. Transport Graviton Shield
Turrets: 2 * Transport Turret Type 3

If you dock with blown off equipment it does not respawn - standard Freelancer, to get it to respawn you need to die in space.
Did the money go on repairs when you docked?
Is the $$ level also why you couldn't buy equipment?

No i died from the pirate. So the equipment should have respawned with me.
Also money didn't matter, though i would have noticed it if it rejected it because of that, there was no "buy" button just the normal text of "you have no free hardpoints" instead of buy button.

Maybe your char is corrupted from 900 million you have = possibly more than 2,147,483,647 credit worth.
