We're upgrading main internet connectivity technology for our network on Monday. I can't be more precise, but you can expect several downtimes of the server during the day (between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. GMT).
The new uplink could improve the server's connection stability a bit, but don't expect miracles. Ping times won't go much lower, but the packet volatility should be reduced.

I could be ready for a 1 month cut if it allowed 1 year without any crush...
So, 3 hours of instability for some chances to reduce the risks, I'm totally in ! Good luck !

Out if interest what is the connection between the red and yellow lag signs and ping? I usualy get a pin of 80-84 but the red and yellow symbols fairly regular. On my old PC the red symbols were almost continious, but it isn't so bad on my new PC. Same connection as before, whats up with it?
Oh and an upgraded intenet connection sounds great! Can't wait to see any differences on Tuesday!

Hmm. The time the server's down on my end of the world is late night/early morning (GMT -8) so I guess this doesn't affect me in a huge way...
I just hope perhaps my ping will average <200ms finally. It gets bloody annoying when the Nomads fire shots at you, they miss you in game, and then your shield drops...
