Question about docking modules - DragonRider - 01-10-2013 Hey guys. Is it planned to add more functionality to the current docking modules? For now, a docked snub can only repair hull and equipement. Maybe make them able to trade nanos/batteries and ammo? I'm just curious. RE: Question about docking modules - Hone - 01-11-2013 You can trade regens just normally in space, with the trade button. As for ammo you can trade that too in space if you get your buddies to bring spares. I agree that big ships like carriers/transports should be able to carry more ammo, but thats harder to do than it sounds. It wouldnt make sense for the carrier to have regens for sale in a shop, it needs those to fight! RE: Question about docking modules - DragonRider - 01-11-2013 Maybe the docking module itself should have some kind of storge. To store nanos/batteries and ammo, different from those used on the carrier. RE: Question about docking modules - Zen_Mechanics - 01-11-2013 You would think that my nephilim should hold 1700 cargo, but thats ridiclious. This ship is supposed to establish a colony and make a planetfall, not to mention that the other half of the ship is larger than any pirate transport. As for the docking modules, it would be a great idea to also park NPC fighters and send them out when needed. Much like Wing commander, if the cap ship is attacked by Bombers, send ur eagles. |
