Originally created by Colonel Kell Tainer, an Ex-LSF agent and then-Major Jeremy Hunter, the Preservers are a small but effective spy operation that encompassed members of the Houses.
The Preservers were bolstered early on by Agents Michal Golanski and Christopher Leigh, both of which brought their skills and own styles into the mix. The Preserver "fleet" comprised of the Neith-II, a modified Resheph Cruiser serving as the flagship, and backed by the Ghost Eye, another modified Resheph, were the only tangible assets that existed. A third cruiser, Answerer, was temporarily assigned to the Preservers before its destruction, and thus was replaced by the Spectre, the then-flagship of Michal Golanski. The three cruisers served as hubs for the Network, which worked to procure information avenues and contacts throughout the houses.
After the disappearance of Kell Tainer, Michal Golanski rose to the leader of the Preservers after Jeremy Hunter’s near-fatal mental breakdown during the same operation the Answerer was destroyed in. With the Sajuuk, an Osiris, taking over flagship duties, and with a second Osiris, Oathkeeper, starting construction, the Preservers were transitioned into the Order’s Primary Fleet. This led to the rise of Golanski to the eventual leader of the Order. The Network slowly morphed into a battlegroup, losing it's original identity.
The Preservers fell into history years before the Fall of Toledo, and where merely whispers and legend. But the name of the Preservers has recently been dragged from the shadows once more by sole remaining founder, Jeremy Hunter.
The Preservers’ goals are to, yes, preserve the Order, but in covert ways, such as reaching out to usually uncontested factions, strengthening ties with factions on the line, and rebuilding the network of spies and informants. Part of the Preserver Network is WATCHERTOWER, the Cell charged with watching the Overwatch to ensure another Malacos Incident does not happen. During the Legion of Steel Rebellion, WATCHTOWER took tactical command of the situation after Overwatch was incapacitated, holding the fort until the Convocation took control of the Order.
Following the death of Jeremy Hunter, the Preservers were relegated Inactive following the fleet restructuring and dissolving of Battleroup GALLANT DAWN into Battlegroup SHADOW, someone has reactivated the old protocols, restructuring the network and integrating it into a small unit of the 4th Battlegroup, LAST SCION - a Task Force designated MAGUS. Moving off of the more well known Ghost Eye, the Preserver Network protocols are now routed through OCV Cleopatra. Whoever is running the protocols is unknown - all that is known is that the Network has begun moving in secret, focusing on the Houses themselves and hunting down infected within them.

1.) The rebuilding and enlargement of the Network - the spies that kept tabs on Sirius. Expand beyond the normal and encompass a larger variety of assets; examples include House Corps.
2.) To reach out and create alliances or strengthen ties with factions beyond the normal scope.
3.) Observe, designate, assassinate any targets suspected and confirmed of Nomad Infestation, Betrayal of Humanity in becoming a Spectre, or working to destroy the Order and risk the fall of humanity itself.

The Network maintains a small but potent fleet of reconnaissance and experimental testbed platform warships, each upgraded and modified originally for use by the original Preserver Network of the Wedjat Division, or was recently modified. While they work on information gathering and Infection extermination, the Network remains a part of Battlegroup LAST SCION - and Colonel Hideyoshi has deigned the Network, Task Force 117 or no - to have command of the irregular vessels attached to LAST SCION.

Thunderbay - Heavy Support Asset
The ThunderBay is the Order's sole Liberty Assault Battle Cruiser, a fast and hard-hitting vessel that has weathered years of war. Outdating even the venerated Ghost Eye, the ThunderBay has survived everything from the Omicrons, to Toledo, to the command of Commodore Parker, a man who has pissed off AI Xion to the point of enacting the Kerebos Protocol...and got away with it. ThunderBay is outfitted to be a multirole vessel, and is armored enough to be able to take a hit when needed.
The ThunderBay is commanded by Lieutenant Colonel Revan Vakalis and assisted by AI XION while Commander Jessica Porter has retired due to wounds to teach at Osborne Academy. It still is going through trials to finish repairs.
CV-Jeanne D'Arc - Long Range Extended Support Platform
Currently under the code-name STANDARD-BEARER. All other information is currently classified PSI level, Overwatch Only. Under jurisdiction of 4th Battlegroup - LAST SCION, administrated by Task Force 117 - MAGUS. Project Leader: CONSUL CURTANA, AGENT MARTYR. Procured by Agent OBSIDIAN and assisted by ORG Vessels, STANDARD-BEARER is located at DAEDALUS BELIAL as it undergoes repairs.
CV-Cleopatra - Task Force 117 Mobile Headquarters
Completed in late winter of 826 AS, it was held back during the Fleet Restructuring, eventually settling into the command of the 4th Battlegroup - LAST SCION under Colonel Natsumi Hideyoshi, former Shogun of the Blood Dragons. Cleopatra is currently the only mobile asset of the Preserver Network, and as such is highly valuable. Built to the specifications of the aging Ghost Eye, the Cleopatra is a long ranger artillery platform designed to maintain distance even in combat. Captained by Cieras Cross, it is the HQ of Task Force 117.

The Preserver Network is small at the current time, but ever-growing. The Preservers have no ranks; only titles. All ranks are kept if joining from another division of the Order, as the Preservers are a Black Ops Division; no one knows who they are, excluding Admiral Golanski.
