Message to all Independent Unlawful Capital Vessels in Liberty - Reverend Del - 06-10-2008 This is an announcement I feel I have to make, regarding the sheer number of capital class vessels currently using Buffalo Station as their port. Buffalo is not equipped to deal with vessels of this size, the cost of replacements for your ships damaged in combat prevents us from outfitting our newer Rogues with tech that could potentially save their lives in battle. Now I am not asking you to stay away from New York, nor restricting your right to operate these vessels, I just ask you to respect that due to the high volume of traffic from the Outcasts, the Hackers and our own Rogues that Buffalo is ill equipped to handle four destroyers at a time. There are many other Rogue bases to operate from, although Alcatraz is currently the staging ground for both of my Destroyers. The Rogue Destroyer in New York is equally unsuited to rearm and repair capital vessels. That still leaves you with the option of any of our bases in the independent worlds. Whilst they may be a long flight time from New York they do not place such a large pressure on the one base we rely on to help with the distribution of Cardamine. Respectfully Sylpheed Out. Message to all Independent Unlawful Capital Vessels in Liberty - Varyag - 06-11-2008 The Junkers are still always willing to repair our battle wagons. Also Beaumont in Texas and Alcatraz in Cali are fully equiped. This should not hinder ops at all. FOR THE CARDI! Basilisk, Outcast Message to all Independent Unlawful Capital Vessels in Liberty - Reverend Del - 06-11-2008 I'm glad you see reason Basilisk. I have no issues regarding Alcatraz save that there are two Destroyers on permanent attachment to that base already. But yes the junkers have the resources to rearm and repair such vessels, alas I wish it were the case for us too. Recent increases in Naval patrols have rendered piracy a somewhat lacking source of funds. Sylpheed out. Message to all Independent Unlawful Capital Vessels in Liberty - Niezck - 06-11-2008 I, personally, do have an issue with capital ships mooring on Alcatraz. We are currently basing two destroyers and two gunboats out of Alcatraz Depot and it is has never been very good at outfitting, repairing and re-arming capitals. It's facilities can handle a maximum of six small and four medium capital ship at any one time. Small capital ships include but are not limited to Gunboats. Medium include but are not limited to Cruisers and Destroyers. We cannot facilitate Battlecruisers, Battleships or Dreadnoughts. I would therefore like to ask any independent capital ships to adhere to these limits. If not, i will be forced to restrict docking rights to my base of operations. Valdar out. Message to all Independent Unlawful Capital Vessels in Liberty - Baltar - 06-11-2008 Capital class vessels cannot physically dock at the Rogue Destroyer ... it IS a destroyer you know ... not a base or planet. So how can a destroyer dock on a destroyer? I do understand your concerns ... however ... I am sure gunboats don't take up that much room. I personally do not see how anything larger than a gunboat can navigate the badlands anyway. Sean McGreggor Captain of the Black Pearl Message to all Independent Unlawful Capital Vessels in Liberty - Reverend Del - 06-13-2008 That is the main reason it is unsuitable for repairing and re-arming, in order to do so things would have to be shuttled across, frankly it just doesn't work. It isn't about room with Buffalo, it's about the high level of traffic and the cost of repairing and re-arming capital vessels versus the cost of the same for fighter class vessels. Our other bases are woefully underused and can support these vessels better than Buffalo is able to. Also Junker bases are practically made for the purpose of fixing ships. Buffalo is a boot camp. Sylpheed Out. Message to all Independent Unlawful Capital Vessels in Liberty - Baltar - 06-13-2008 Aye ... since I spend my days away from Liberty, this is a non-issue for me and my crew. Should we enter Liberty in the future we shall honor your request.
