Greetings,

First, let me to introduce myself, I think this is our first transmission to Bretonian government… I’m Christian Burton, leader of Zoner group known as Phoenix. There is not much I can tell about ourselves, we are like many other Zoners trying to survive in harsh place known as Sirius.

I came to you with a business proposal, which would be truly fruitful for both parties and I hope you will consider it.
For a long time we have harmonious relationship with the GMG which started years ago. We’re distributing H-Fuel around Freeports and other Zoner installations, mainly in edge worlds, since not many traders wish to visit such places due it’s unknown dangers. But I digressed. About few months ago we’re started to ship He-3 isotope, since our friends offering good services for that. But there is no any Zoner installation that is interested in this isotope, but I've heard Southampton Shipyard really needs it.

Since we are all know how it’s hard to fight against gauls, I’d like to offer a hand of help from Phoenix Zoners. We even realize if they could win in this war, it’ll be a true… disaster. As we are Zoners, we want to offer in the best what we can do – trade.

But due to the dangerous way through Tau region, we didn't have the possibility to go via there, and as I know it’s prohibited by Bretonia laws anyway. We did these shipments through Liberty space, but it is almost the same as the battlefield in Taus. Liberty cannot guarantee safety for my people, pirate activity in this region extremely high. So, I think it’s only way to do it with safe - jumping technology. Sadly, it’s require huge amount of energy and can be used only on capital ships. In our case it’s a colony ship, probably you saw few of them, but still, many recongnised it as Nephilim.

Thus, I would like to request permit to use Nephilim "(\^/)Phoenix" capital class vessel and our trade fleet in Bretonian space, if to be exact - sector of Southampton Shipyard.

Also, please let me know if there is any possibility to used said technology in Newcastle system. As we’re noticed, it’s an industrial center, and this place is really in what we’re interested in. We have our own place, which we can call home, but it’s located in the far Omicrons. Due it’s location, keeping a base running is rather hard job. But if you would let us to jump there, it may solve many problems for us, also it’ll be a good boost of local industries.

I'm awaiting for your reply.

Mr. Burton,

We have seen several of your ships trading within Bretonia, and I have not seen any reports of illegal activity on their part. Your offer to assist in the Gas Miners' supply of our shipyards, and thus in the war effort is appreciated.

Due to the proliferation of jump-trading, a standard licence will be drawn up and you can be redirected to there. To speed up the process when this process is put in place, details of your group would be appreciated.
Details of the Phoenix jumpship itself and the ships it will be jumping in would be what we are looking for. As I am sure you know, only Whales and the like using Omicron Supply Industries' new design are compatible with our docking ports.

In the meantime, your group is still welcome in Bretonia as long as you remain within the law.

Best regards,
Deputy Commissioner Magnus Page

Thank you for the reply,

Please let us know as license for jump technology have been written. As for details...

As I've mentioned in first message, there is not much I can tell about ourselves. Perhaps, some straight questions? *smile*

Anyway, I'll try to answer probable questions. Phoenix it's a like united group of Zoners, we still value any person inside of our family, although we have our own structure and code of conduct, we ain't chaotic, as it may looks for your government. We have goals which truly unite us, it's find a place for ourselves to settle and fight for humanity.

Although, the place for ourselves already was find, we still have to fight for our own home, Phoenix Spaceport. It's located in Omicron Zeta. I even not sure if you know about existence of such system, it's so far from Bretonia... But anyway, we like you, have open battle front, but in our case threat is the Nomads.

As for our jump ship, it was designed as colony ship, it's a multi role vessel. In our case, these ships are using as homeships, serving for ourselves and our families. This one are equipped with jump drive, thus have possibility for trade jumps.

That's right point, our ZBT "Whale" still ain't compatible with house mooring bays, but our engineers are working on it. But we still use them; if we need something from house's space we're using BWT, for our good it's works properly.

As for other trade possibilities, we own three barges. Two of them are tagged and using properly Zoner papers as it was built, but another one was hired not that long time ago from GMG, we're wish update codes, but it's not seem to be possible in close future. Currently it's using GMG identification code.

Mr. Burton,

I'd like to apologise for the delay in getting to your request. However, the Office of Jumpdrive and Hyperspace Scanning Registry and Reporting has now been set up, which should streamline yours and others' registration. Please fill out the forms there before you begin jumping.

Your 'family' seems of good repute, and once the above has been filled out there should be no problems with your operations in Bretonia.
The Phoenix itself sounds like a fine ship and home, it will serve you well.
The Battleships Suffolk and Ark Royal are only one lane away from your intended destinations, which should be less restrictive than you may be used to.

Best regards,
Deputy Commissioner Magnus Page
