Konnichiwa to Kusari lawful forces and Kusari Teikoku itself.My name is Marcus Briggs.I am sending this notification to your HQ about my finding.
As I was told and as I heard , Kusari fought a war with Bretonia.After the invasion of Gallic Royal Navy in Tau-31, KNF has fought with GRN above Holman Outpost.
During this battle, something was lost and partially destroyed but we found it.
My group and I found it several miles away from Holman accidentaly while chasing Outcast pilots.It was corrosing and there was only a minor hole.It was a Kusari Battleship.Me and my group managed to restore "some" of its vital functions.After that we called local IMG miners and patrols to tell us what have we found.
They told us its a Kusari Battleship of some unknown class they've never seen.In the middle of conversation, Gallic Royal Navy patrols caught us on radar and we had to retreat so they wouldn't see the Battleship itself.On the way back to Holman, we had to maintain radio silence so they wouldn't hear us and our intentions.
I managed to get to Kusari via Tau-29.I contacted Samura engineers aboard Yokohama Shipyard.They told me no such Battleship exsited nor it will exsit, since there is only one of these Battleships in use.That didn't help me much.I docked aboard the "only" Meiji class Battleship, The Nagumo in Kyushu.I gave a small fee to KNF engineer to tell me more about my finding.He told me that Meiji class Battleship named Hyuga was secretly developed in the Nansei Research Station and was about to be used against BAF forces.He told me:" It was lost and noone has found it yet.Even if it would be founded, we would not accept it because of our "own" reasons "
After that, me and my group commandered the Battleship.We are looking for permission to use it.
We will use it for research purposes.Mainly to study the Nomads and suppress Gallic forces if needed.Our intentions "against" Bretonia do not exsit.It will be stationed somewhere in Tau`s.

Another one "found" our battleship, towed it to IMG station in front of GRN forces, after that moved to tau-29, once again passing GRN patrols and hide it probably on zoner station that even smaller than battleship itself. Hai hai, after that you also managed to somehow make complete scan of ship to show to different engineers and even bribe KNF officer, which I must tell you blatant lies. We haven't towed to IMG station.It was drifting through space, and after we found it ,we called in the IMG patrols to tell us what we're dealing with.GRN arrived at the scene very soon and we had to run away.And we haven't moved it to Tau-29 at all.
We managed to place one of those radar jamming devices near it so GRN wouldn't find it."Then" I left to Kusari to inform the KNF and Samura.

I care little about how 'unlikely' it is for someone to recover the wreck of one of our battleship and to actually restore it to operationnal use.

To try to have a constructive conversation here, i will just assume you indeed have the considerable resources needed for such a task.
If your first intent was indeed to discuss with the KNF High Command about the future of this vessel, then do so.

Enyway, back to the main subject about the Battleship.
Yesterday, after my last transmission to Kusari Kaigun I managed to land on Harris and contact my friend who is working for Planetform Incorporated.He told me what really happened to the Battleship Yamato.He didn't knew it was/is named Yamato, but he remembered that one of those Battleships drifted into space after it was destroyed.He told me:We were transporting some cargo to Harris.While passing by the Holman, we entered a big battle between KNF and GRN.I saw one of those Richelieu class Valor Battleships attacking the Battleship you mentioned .We barely managed to pass.I saw, that Valor breached the Yamato`s hull , and there was a huge decompression between the ship and space, and many of the pilots died, along with the ship`s Admiral.Only few of them managed to survive.Yamato drifted into space in some unknown direction
I was pretty satisfied with the info he has gave me.
Now about the restoration.
As the Planetform employee said, the hull was breached, but the Battleship itself wasn't damaged too much.I convinced myself that only minor damage has been done, only the decompression.So we only had to fix the hole in the ship and then fill up the ship with Oxygen , and H-Fuel to keep it operational , once again.
